On the other hand, the Chief Minister (Kota Srinivasa Rao) recommends the candidature of Pappu Yadav (Irfan Khan) for Assembly Elections. Bullet Raja (Ravi Teja) is a small-time crook with a good heart. He bumps into Swetha (Taapsee Pannu) at a function and falls in love with her, but she is already engaged to Harbour Babu (Sushant Singh), a powerful local goon. One day, using Swetha’s dance master Vidya Balan (Brahmanandam), Raja and Swetha manage to run away from Babu to reach a hilltop, but Babu tracks them down and is severely beaten by Raja. At the last moment, Babu uses his Scorpio car to hit Raja off the hilltop. Raja clings on to a branch growing on the hill but slips off it and falls down, yet still manages to survive. Just then, Chitragupta (M. S. Narayana) changes the story, and the car that was stuck on the edge of the hill falls down on top of Raja, and as he was crushed. The Scorpio car blasts, thus killing him.

Varun Murali (Kalaiyarasan) is a well-known blind chef and the owner of a popular restaurant in Chennai. One night, Deepa (Sshivada) visits his restaurant asking for leftover food for homeless. Back in the 1980s, in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, Madura Michael is a notorious thug who works for a smuggler named Senthamarai and kills for money. He spends his time with his sidekicks played by Mahat and VTV Ganesh. Michael falls for Selvi, a girl from his town. Selvi rejects him initially, but later reciprocates his love. She asks him to leave his gangster life and move to Dubai, starting a new life. Michael half-heartedly accepts this. However, an enemy from the same gang backstabs Michael by turning into a witness for many murders committed by Michael and the latter is jail.

He says to his friend that he us going to lodge a complaint his friend suggests him not to but the father proceeds,while having lunch with his only daughter unknown to him and his daughter the food is mixed with poison and his friend brings a local gang and makes the murder look like a suicide,and the spirit narrates to thulasi in the midst thulasi learns that if the spirit stays in her daughter’s body her daughter will survive so she pleads the spirit stay and even the spirit agrees but the guy learns this he goes to kill thulasi and her child but instead he slips from the cliff and the spirit apologies as this was her wish and thus leaves thulasi’s body and thulasi wants to see her daughter live so she calls the doctor and requests him to take her daughter along with him to India and leave her daughter in her hometown and says she will soon leave all and commits suicide so that as a spirit she can enter her body in order to save her from her disease.

A handicapped man Krishna (Suriya) arrives at Mumbai from Kanyakumari at a train station after boarding a train from there. He, along with a taxi driver Raja (Soori), travel around Mumbai to look for his elder brother, Raju. Raja tries to get to know about Krishna but is unable to get any details about him from him. Krishna rents a hotel room, takes a shower, and changes his clothes. He gets Raja to take him to a club, where Krishna then tries to meet an old associate of Raju named Amar, who is a very powerful gangster through his henchmen, but fails. He then meets a close friend of Raju named Rajiv (Asif Basra), who overheard his conversation with Amar’s henchmen. Rajiv tells Krishna that Raju is Raju Bhai (Suriya), a powerful and feared gangster. He then tells things to Krishna about Raju, until he passes out from being drunk.

The film opens and ends with jail sequences. In both scenes, Pazhanivel (Bharath) is seen behind bars. The happenings from his release and his reentry to the jail make the whole film. Pazhanivel, who comes out of prison, puts his sister Karpagambal’s (Kushboo) life on track through his heroics and goes back to jail as a martyr. Pazhanivel was put behind bars when he was 10 years old. He killed his father’s (Yaar Kannan) “keep”, who made his mother’s (Rekha) life a hell by exploiting her to cajole his “keep”. He went to jail, and his father turned an aimless vagabond. Karpagambal, who disowned him when he was sent to jail, grew up and got married to businessman Jeevanandham (Biju Menon). Karpagambal is living in a fool’s paradise, believing the man, who is actually an antisocial element. However, she need not worry about anything. Pazhanivel, who is now 25 years old, has come out of jail. He gets a job in his sister’s house, unearths Jeevanandham’s shady deals, reforms him, and puts his sister’s life on track. Meanwhile, he finds his lady love Deepti (Kajal Aggarwal).

The story begins when a teen named Suri escapes and finds a drug dealer tormenting some little boys. Suri guns down the drug dealer. One of the boys, Raghava/Jadhav, expresses his wish to join him. The rest of the boys become Suri’s helpers and eventually his henchmen. The film continues 20 years later with Suri (Akkineni Nagarjuna) and Raghava/Jadhav (Raghava Lawrence), and with the establishment of the fact that Suri is the don with a golden heart. Then, he has Raghava/Jadhav as his sidekick who adores him to death. Together, they rule the underworld of Andhra Pradesh. Since Suri is the unopposed kingpin, he has time for a song and dance on his birthday with his basti people. Everything is peaceful and hunky dory, but only until Stephen/Feroz (Kelly Dorji) enters the scene. He is a feared don throughout India who wants to add Andhra to his underworld fiefdom. Suri refuses to work with Stephen/Feroz. In many attempts to kill Suri, Stephen’s/Feroz’s men get killed. Rathnam (Kota Srinivasa Rao) wants to kill Raghava/Jadhav. Raghava/Jadhav kills Rathnam because the latter hosted a hideout for Stephen’s/Feroz’s men in Hyderabad. Meanwhile, Suri falls in love with Priya (Anushka Shetty). At first, she doesn’t like him but later begins to like him. Raghava/Jadhav also finds a girl he likes. In that process, he is cornered, where his fiancé Nandhini (Nikita Thukral) ends up being on the villains side. Raghava/Jadhav is killed. In a final meet between Suri and Stephen/Feroz, the latter returns Raghava’s/Jadhav’s bullet-ridden body and challenges Suri to a fight on the condition that ‘A person will lose two of his men for each fall he takes’. Angered and heartbroken by Raghava’s/Jadhav’s death, Suri accepts his challenge. As the fight progresses, Suri loses two of his men. Determined to win, Suri continues the fight and thrashes up Stephen/Feroz and his two well-trained women bodyguards. The fight ends with Stephen/Feroz getting killed by Suri, and he warns Stephen’s/Feroz’s remaining men not to be like their boss.

Sridhar (Tarun) is a final year degree student and gets selected in the campus selections for studies abroad. He goes to Mumbai for an interview and in his return finds Preeti (Trisha) and loses his heart to her. Sridhar comes to know that Preeti was about to join in degree and Preeti learns that he was a final year degree student. Sridhar is an ardent cricket fan, so is Preeti, while Sridhar is also a good football player. The principal of the college appoints a coach called Reshma (Shriya), who is also a student, for the football team led by Sridhar. Sridhar tries his best to trace Preeti by visiting several women’s colleges, while Preeti also watches for Sridhar at the men’s college. Accidentally, Preeti helps Sridhar’s mother, when she had a heart attack. In order to find Preeti at any cost, Sridhar goes to the LB Stadium, where a cricket match is in progress and gets injuries in a bomb blast in the stadium. Just before the blast, both Preeti and Sridhar find each other but could not meet due to the blast.

He meets his friend, Bunny, at the airport and goes to the village on Bunny’s bike the next day. On the way, he witnesses a cockfight organised by Bangari and Baachi; he gets the help of Balaraju to pardon Bangari and get Baachi arrested. Abhiram then introduces himself as a student from London who came here to learn agricultural practices and martial arts. He particularly impresses Balaraju’s family when he saves a child’s life and so is allowed to stay with them.

Surya (Ram Pothineni) is a carefree youth who lives with his father Narayana Murthy (Sathyaraj). He loves his father and is very protective of him. When they visit the temple, Murthy meets a disciplined and valued girl named Bhanumathi (Raashi Khanna) whom he wishes which house she will enter it, would be very lucky. This is noticed by Surya, and he decides to marry only her just for his father’s wish. He wants 50,000 for a delivery operation. He gets 40,000 from his friends and meets Bhanumathi (unaware that she is the same girl) and falls for her, but he does not do it because of the temple girl. He fools her and takes the remaining 10,000 from her. She tells that her father (Posani Krishna Murali) thinks that money should be with us till last, and he even makes her wear glasses on the rationale that no one would fall in love with her if she looks like an aunty. She is taken by Surya’s attitude of enjoying life to the fullest. He takes her to the delivery he helped the couple’s house. They ask him to name the baby, which he names Bhanumathi because she gave the remaining 10,000, which makes Bhanumathi fall for him. She proposes to him but is rejected because of the temple girl (which is herself but she does not know it). Surya reciprocates it when he discovers that she is the same girl. As everything was going correct, Minister Rajappa (Rao Ramesh) troubles Murthy to get his signature for a file. Murthy objects for this signature and lands in deep trouble. Surya solves the problem. Murthy retires happily, giving the credit of his happiness to Surya. Surya later marries Bhanumathi and lives happily.

He begins by reciting events from the 12th century in Chidambaram, when King Kulothunga Chola II, a Saivite, persecutes Vaishnavites and intends to destroy an idol of Govindaraja. Rangarajan Nambi, a Vaishnavite, protects it and offends the king, who orders Rangarajan to be executed by being pierced, stoned, submerged into the sea with the idol, before being devoured by the shark, thus the king succeeding.
On 20 December 2004, a nano bio-technology lab in the United States designs a vector-virus intended as a bio-weapon. When they were watching the insound of his lab monkey breaking out of his cage and retrieving a sample of the test virus. The monkey, who thinks the vial as the usual chocolate Govind would feed him, swallows the sample of the virus. Govind and his co-workers watch helplessly as monkey dies. Govind, saddened by the event, quarantines the lab room by filling it with concentrated salt solution, the only antidote to the virus. After understanding the original virus’s lethal potential the hard way, Govind refuses to hand over the main single vial containing the virus, due to fear of misuse. However, his boss, Dr. Sethu, has a malicious plan in mind, and tries to sell it to a terrorist group. Govind tries to sneak the vial out of the lab in order to save the vial from Sethu’s evil plan, but is pursued by the security guard and the police. Govind flees to his friend and coworker Suresh’s house for refuge, who secretly betrays him.

Anand befriends a famous model Pooja (Lakshmi Rai). They both see the video and inform Commissioner Kailasam (Thalaivasal Vijay). Kailasam sends goons to get the tape, and Vinoth evades. After a long chase, Vinoth gets killed in the train where Anand and Divya were travelling. Anand places the tape into Divya’s bag and develops a friendship with her. In an urge to become an actor, he observes the character of people with a strange attitude, and one such person is John Vijay (Rahman). Anand joins John, and he promises to make him an actor. John takes Anand to a stranger’s home and does things as if they were thieves. One such house was that of Pooja, where they go and get information regarding her. On that eve, Anand befriends Pooja when he saves her when she was laid in a pool of blood after being attacked by goons. She helps him become an actor and asks some photos of his to get him a chance. When Anand goes to Pooja’s home, he finds her dead and is put to blame. Anand goes underground, mistaken by Divya and her mother (Urvashi).

Set in the city of Chennai, the narrative follows the love story of Yamuna and Vettri, childhood sweethearts.
