Saravana Perumal (Deepak Dinkar) is a television anchor who is experiencing hard times in both his professional and personal life. Saravanan chooses to escape his troubles by going to a party with his friends where he becomes intoxicated. While drunk he unknowingly tells Mark (Rajendran), who is a hitman, to kill his competitor at work, his loan shark, and Deepika. When he wakes the following morning, he finds that his colleague and his loan shark are dead, and a call from Mark telling Saravanan that he has done what he has asked. Saravanan tries to prevent Mark from killing Deepika. Toward the end, it is revealed that Mark’s targets all died by accident before Mark could kill them. While attempting to kill Deepika, Mark falls from a ledge and dies, without Saravanan knowing his true identity as he was drunk when he met Mark. The end shows Saravanan being paranoid that every man who meets Deepika, now his wife, is secretly Mark and trying to kill her without ever knowing that the real Mark is dead.

Venugopal, a wealthy industrialist, marries a woman named Sushila and they have quadruplets. His brother Nandagopal tries to have her and the newborns killed by hired goons. However, the leader of the goons has no desire to kill the babies, so he adopts one (Michael), leaves one in an orphanage (Raju), one in a temple (Kameshwaran) who is picked by Palakkad Mani Iyer, a Brahmin, and one (Madhan) in a car that belongs to Venugopal.
30 years later, Madhan is now a London-educated businessman. Venugopal has raised Madhan as his adopted son, not knowing that he is his biological son. Venugopal is killed by Nandagopal and his nephew, Ramu for his inheritance, but unknown to them, the will has already named Madhan as the beneficiary.

The film revolves around Krishna (Jai), who works in an IT company. Krishna goes on a vacation with his colleagues, where he falls in love with his colleague Divya (Pranitha). Everything goes fine in the initial few days, and their love life is a bliss. One day, Divya breaks up with Krishna, citing a reason she is going to marry someone else. Krishna gets depressed and consults a psychiatrist Muthu Vinayagam (Thambi Ramaiah). Muthu advises Krishna to get in touch with his friends whenever he feels depressed. Krishna reaches out to his three friends, who turn out to be busy with their personal lives. Krishna gets dejected, rents a lodge, and gets drunk. He calls up his friends and threatens them that he is about to commit suicide. Realizing their friend is in serious trouble, they immediately act upon to reach out to him. As they are unaware of his location, they are not able to find him. During the search process, all three of them get into various troubles for no fault of their own. Will they be able to reach out to their friend and stop his suicide constitutes the rest of the story.

Meanwhile, Surya (Pritviraj), Madhavan Nair’s younger son, is a young, energetic, educated, naughty guy who is well-famous for his rowdyism in his village. He is sent to Ernakulam to his brother-in-law Sugunan (Suraj Venjaramoodu) to change his character, who is a scary cat. At Ernakulam, Surya falls in love with Aswathy (Shriya Saran), unknowing that she is the daughter of Rajendra Babu (Siddique), the City Police Commissioner. Sugunan takes advantage of Surya’s character and sends him in his uniform to take care of some severe police cases. Surya gets arrested for this offence. Rajendra Babu finds that Surya is in love with his daughter and charges Surya with another drugs case and makes it a non-bailable offence. Meanwhile, Rajendra Babu plans to murder Surya in jail, and he gives the contract to Pokkiri Raja. At this point, Madhavan Nair goes to Madurai in search of his elder son who left for Madurai 10 years back, and asks for his help to rescue his younger son Surya. After realising that Surya is his brother, Raja starts the game to help his family and end Rajendra Babu.

Then police and media covers the bank. After a lot of struggle they come out safely. Afterwards they get to know Ashmita has no disease but is stuck in a big problem. The problem is a gang which takes bad videos of women and asks money. But the video of ashmita is uploaded for not giving money. How they save Ashmita’s life forms the rest of the plot.

Vasundhara (Kajol), a chairman of a big construction company in South India, Vasundhara Constructions, witness the announcement of Raghuvaran’s victory at the Engineer of the Year 2016 Awards and finds out about him. She makes Raghuvaran a job offer, but he humbly refuses, having been interested in creating his own construction company, VIP Constructions.

Badri (Vijay) is the youngest son of a family and a careless guy, always going around girls and enjoying with them. His womanizing habits are a source of heartburn for his father (Kitty). Mamathi dumps Badri and insults him in front of his father. Badri’s father, tired of his son’s antics, disowns him. Later Vetri is attacked by his enemies and is bedridden, unable to take part in the kick boxing championship. Badri decides to fight in his brother’s place to redeem his family name as his father always wanted his son to win the kick boxing championship. So he trains hard and fights against Rohit, who happens to be Mamathi’s new boyfriend. He defeats Rohit, redeems himself in front of his father’s eyes and finally accepts Janu’s love.

Ram is introduced to be an youngster who loves graffiti and doesn’t believe in everlasting love. He has gone through 9 loves in his life, and thinks that love between two people eventually dies out. As a person with strong morals, he is honest and wants to love life and live with open mind, open thought and open action with his lover. Jaanu (Genelia D’Souza) studies in the same college as Ram. He falls in love with her at first sight and goes onto wooing her. She eventually ends up falling for him, but wants him to promise to love her forever. Ram, of course, nonchalantly dismisses this and explains how he cannot love her forever. This leads to a clash of their ideologies. Ram shows Jaanu how even true love stales after a while and true love cannot stay forever, while Jaanu shows him examples of everlasting love, like her friends and her parents. However he makes it clear that love between two people is never the same as it first is. Ram doesn’t really bother about feelings of Jaanu and assumes that things work out for him with her because of how he feels for her without genuinely caring about how she feels and wants her future. Ram shows narcissism in most parts of the story.

Mumbai Police commissioner Ajay Bhardwaj announces the end of the “Mafia Raj” in the city, to try to bring peace to the city’s streets. Agastya (Akshay Kumar) is a scientist, working on the development of a communication system, to communicate with aliens. But Agastya loses the faith of his seniors and is allotted with a deadline of one month to conclude his project with some substantial results.
In the mean time Agastya is informed by his girlfriend Diva (Sonakshi Sinha) about his father’s illness. On hearing this they both reaches his native village Paglapur, whose colourful inhabitants include a man who speaks in gibberish, another who thinks he is a lamp post and everyone else who think that the World War II is still going on.

Raghava (Lawrence Raghavendra) is a typical jobless youth who spends his days playing cricket with friends.
