Indu and Chandru (Rambha and Karthik) fall in love. Indu does the disappearing act and Chandru gets engaged to Rekha (Mumtaz). Indu re-appears after three years with a little girl, who she claims is Chandru’s daughter. Chandru vehemently denies it and finding Indu’s presence an embarrassment tries to ferret out the truth. After many scenes of forced comedy, we learn that the girl is the illegitimate daughter of Chandru’s much-married brother, who had seduced Indu’s sister. After his brother’s futile attempt to play the villain, Chandru latches on to Indu fast enough with no apology to Rekha. But it is not really Chandru’s fault. For Rekha had done the disappearing act from the scene early enough without any explanation either.

Unemployed Shakthi Singh lives a poor lifestyle along with his widowed and ailing mother and a sister. His mother falls ill and gets admitted in hospital. Both continue meeting not aware that her marriage has been arranged with Pratap. This story also depicts the possibility of Shakthi catching the 12B on time, attending the interview and getting hired, pursuing Jyotika in vain, and ending up in the arms of his co-worker, Priya. Both possibilities end up with Shakthi getting involved in a vehicle accident – and no guarantees that he will survive or wed Jyotika.

Maruthu (Vishal) is a labourer from Rajapalayam who personally does not tolerate injustice anywhere. He leads a happy life with his grandmother Appathaa (Kulappulli Leela) and his younger brother Kokkarako (Soori). One day, he encounters Bhagyalakshmi alias Bhagyam (Sri Divya), a bold young woman, at a temple, but their first meeting does not go well due to a misunderstanding, and he ends up at a police station. However, with Appathaa’s help, Maruthu soon manages to win Bhagyam’s heart. One day, he sees some goons chasing Bhagyam and her father (G. Marimuthu) near the market where he is working. Maruthu beats up the goons and then learns from Bhagyam’s father why the goons are after them.

Certain circumstances get an innocent guy into a serious issue involving millions of money and his life turns upside down.

Manohar (Guru Somasundaram) is a jobless struggling writer whose wife pressurises him to get a set top box for her and he goes out with his friend who is a drug peddler, Peter (Venkatesh Harinathan) to fulfill her wish for their wedding anniversary. But to their misfortune, both Manohar and Peter are threatened by gangster Veerabadhran (Deepak Bagga) and his sidekick to close a deal for them. However things go awry for them as they land in a retired gangster Kali Muthu’s (Nassar) place for help, but it only lead to another mishap.[9]
