Bullet Raja (Ravi Teja) is a small-time crook with a good heart. One day, using Swetha’s dance master Vidya Balan (Brahmanandam), Raja and Swetha manage to run away from Babu to reach a hilltop, but Babu tracks them down and is severely beaten by Raja. At the last moment, Babu uses his Scorpio car to hit Raja off the hilltop. Raja clings on to a branch growing on the hill but slips off it and falls down, yet still manages to survive. Just then, Chitragupta (M. S. Narayana) changes the story, and the car that was stuck on the edge of the hill falls down on top of Raja, and as he was crushed. The Scorpio car blasts, thus killing him.
Naiyaandi 2013
This story begins with Chinna Vandu’s (Dhanush) brothers Paranjothi (Sriman) and Paranthavan (Sathyan), who are not yet married, despite their old age. Chinna Vandu, who studied in his uncle’s son home, falls in love with Vanaroja (Nazriya Nazim), who comes there to visit her grandmother (Sachu) and see the village festival. Chinna Vandu finds many ways to make Vanaroja fall in love, such as making her laugh, but she still does not fall in love with him. During the village festival, Vanaroja’s ring goes missing, so her father Poongavanam (Aadukalam Naren) comes there and tells everyone to find the ring for a reward of 1 lakh. Only Chinna Vandu finds it in front of Vanaroja, but he gives the ring to a poor lady to claim the prize, as Vanaroja does not like him. Seeing this, Vanaroja falls in love with him. Chinna Vandu makes a challenge to himself: to know whether Vanaroja’s in love or not. He gets to know that Vanaroja is also in love with him.
Vanaroja leaves the village to her home but upon reaching, she finds her father has arranged for her engagement with Krishna (Vamsi Krishna) and is getting married with Krishna on her birthday. Chinna Vandu comes to wish her for her birthday on that night and comes to know about the engagement. They both escape from Krishna and his henchmen. Chinna Vandu tells his cousin Soori (Soori) he has eloped with Vanaroja and asks him to come and meet them. Soori tries to find a way for Chinna Vandu to live with Vanaroja, but Chinna Vandu tells him he has already married her. Soori tells them to hide their marriage and go to his family in Kumbukonam. Soori brings Vanaroja to Chinna Vandu’s house, saying she is an orphan. His family accepts her in, but Chinna Vandu’s brothers start to love Vanaroja. Chinna Vandu comes there and makes sure his brothers do not marry her. After some days, their mother (Meera Krishnan) finds that Vanaroja is pregnant and throws her out of the house. Meanwhile, Krishna’s men find Vanaroja and kidnap her. Chinna Vandu finds Vanaroja captured by Krishna and follows him. He goes in a fight and wins, but Chinna Vandu is caught by his whole family, and his father Sambandham (Pyramid Natarajan) does not accept this, but Poongavanam comes and tells Sambandham that his daughter’s life needs to be happy, and so finally he accepts their relationship.
Panchamirtham 2008
The story begins at Ravana’s (Prakashraj) abode and the time of Ramayana when he orders his uncle Mareesan (Jayaram) to transform into a deer to abduct Seetha. Mareesan argues with Ravana but finally complies since Idumba (Raju Eswaran) and Ravana threaten the life of Mareesan’s lover (Samiksha). Finally the said thing happens and Mareesan gets struck by the arrow by lord Rama, he becomes a rock but not before he transforms Idumba into an anklet and wears it on his leg. Times change and the modern day comes. Rajaram (Nasser) is a very rich man who owns tea estates and he has Seetha (Saranya Mohan) as his dietitian and Sri Rama (Arvind Akash) as the cook. Both Rama and Seetha are in love, on the other hand Rajaram’s relatives (M. S. Bhaskar and Mayilsamy) plan a plot to take the property. In this process, they end up planning to kill Seetha by pushing her from a mountain top. Seetha falls directly on the rock idol of Mareesan and he gets his human form. At the same time, his anklet falls off and is eaten by a fish. That fish is caught by fisherman Manickam (Nasser again) and Idumba gets his human form. The age old enmity crops up and while Mareesan vows to protect Seetha, Idumba plans to help Manickam get Rajaram’s property as half brother. What happens from there forms the rest of the story..
Chandramukhi 2005
Saravanan, a psychiatrist, meets up with his foster brother Senthilnathan alias Senthil, and his wife Ganga while on vacation. Senthil’s mother Kasthuri wanted Senthil to marry Priya, the daughter of his father’s cousin Kandaswamy, to reunite the two branches of the family after 30 years of separation because Senthil’s father chose to marry Kasthuri instead of Kandaswamy’s sister, Akhilandeshwari. Saravanan learns that Senthil had bought the Vettaiyapuram mansion, despite attempts by the local village elders to dissuade them, and moves in with them. Akhilandeshwari is jealous of Saravanan and plots to kill him with the help of her assistant Oomaiyan.
When the family visits their ancestral temple, the chief priest reveals the reason everyone fears the mansion. A hundred-and-fifty years ago, a king named Vettaiyan travelled to Vijayanagaram in Andhra Pradesh, where he met and fell in love with a dancer named Chandramukhi. However, she did not reciprocate his feelings as she was already in love with a dancer named Gunashekaran. As a result, Vettaiyan took her back to his palace by force. Unknown to him, Chandramukhi made Gunashekaran stay in a house nearby and had meetings with him secretly. When Vettaiyan discovered this, he beheaded Gunashekaran on Durgashtami and burnt Chandramukhi alive. As a result, Chandramukhi’s ghost tried to take revenge on Vettaiyan, who with the help of various priests and sorcerers from all over the country, tames the ghost by locking it up in a room located in the palace’s south-west corner. Priya is in love with Vishwanathan, a dance professor who reciprocates her feelings. Their love is supported by Saravanan, who requests Kandaswamy to arrange their marriage.
