A young boy murders a landlord who has killed his mother. He escapes from the place after committing the crime and grows up to be a robber who helps the poor and orphans.

Krishna Das, a waiter by profession, falls for Keerthi. His look alike, Dr. Sanjay Rudra, dies in an accident the night before Das loses his job and love. Rao Ramesh encounters Krishna Das and recruits him to replace Sanjay in order to save the company. What happens next forms the rest of the story.

The film opens with Ram (Atharvaa) fronting a car driven by two guys apparently drunk and rich and with their girl friend(s). He tries to kill them and eventually they escape in the car opening the title. Then it turns to be that Ram enjoys a successful career in information technology. He is hit on by Radhi (Yashika) as office romance. He turns down her interest and reveals he is in love with a girl who resides in Bangalore and he is going to visit her. Ram drives to Bangalore and meets Charu (Amala Paul) in her apartment. While sleeping, Ram wakes up goes to the streets, search and kills a person (one of them in the car in first scene). Eventually it is revealed that Charu is in some danger and Ram is safeguarding her by not letting her out of that apartment until he cleans up the city for her safety.

The film revolves around the family of Jaikodi Thevar, who has two wives. Jaikodi is a respected landowner whose family has helped develop the village for generations. However, his first wife Sevanamma (Viji Chandrasekhar), and her elder brother Veera (Vela Ramamoorthy) control the local gangs and are feared by the villagers. As a result, Jaikodi prefers to live with his second wife and her children (Parthiban (Kathir) and Prema. Because of her husband’s preference of his second wife, Sevanamma dislikes her and her children. Veera blames his brother-in-law’s second wife and her children of destroying his sister’s life and hates them too. The only member of the first wife’s family that accepts the second wife’s family is Jaikodi’s drunkard eldest son, Boologarasa (Kalaiyarasan). However, he is often powerless against his mother and maternal uncle.

The story starts with floods at Ranga Saipet in Warangal District. Houses, trains, and people inundate in floodwater. Siddharth (Mahesh Babu) and his friends save the people up to their maximum effort. Eight of his friends assist him in the rescue. On the other hand, the Chief Minister (Kota Srinivasa Rao) recommends the candidature of Pappu Yadav (Irfan Khan) for Assembly Elections. Pappu is a goonda who wishes to earn big through politics and power. To get the attention of people, he announces a sum of Rs.5 crore for flood victims.

A lawyer turns judge jury and executioner and goes after a gang, led by a minister’s son, that threatens women with videos of them.

Rajan Vasudev (Kalabhavan Mani) is an intolerable business tycoon who runs the great OPM Group of companies spread across the globe. He meaninglessly topples companies by either buying or taking the majority shares so that his company can spread across. His wife was killed 20 years ago by a rival company owner, which turned him into this way. Udhay Vasudev (Vinay Rai) is his only son, a spoilt kid who drives a Ferrari, spends lakhs everyday, and lives in one of the most sophisticated houses in Chennai. He is the sponsor for his constant companion Madhan (Yuva), who lives with him and local friend Kadukku (N. Santhanam) along with 12 bodyguards (headed by Alse Ram). Udhay meets LR Easwari (Kajal Aggarwal), a music student in Chennai in an accident and falls head on for her. He wants to mingle with her and blackmails her by saying that she has damaged his car and could work by his will to compensate the 10 lakh she owes him, and in a funny turn of events, he makes her his maid-servant. Soon, Madhan falls in love with Easwari, who has also fallen for Udhay.

A rejected project leader from a biomedical company must go against the company’s wishes to save it. Sanctioning her own unethical experiments, she attempts to create enhanced soldiers to aid in the military’s defense against a rebellion.

For generations, Gowtham Ramalingam (Atharvaa) and his family have close links with the media. His father Ramalingam (Aadukalam Naren) is a news presenter with Doordarshan. His grandfather was a news reader in All India Radio. Following their footsteps, Gowtham becomes a TV journalist in a small channel, despite being an engineering graduate. He falls in love with his colleague Anu (Catherine Tresa) at first sight. Anu reciprocates, and romance ensues. While things are going well romantically, Gowtham gets arrested on charges of cheating banks to the tune of several lakhs of rupees by producing fake documents and degree certificates. Gowtham realises he has been made pawn in a huge scandal. The rest of the movie is all about how he unearths the fake certificate scam and pins down the mastermind Thura Sarkar (Tarun Arora).

Set on the backdrop of Theni, the story is about Murugaiyan (Vijay Sethupathi) who is a goat shepherd and he has a loving mother Veerayi (Saranya Ponvannan). She is a widow and struggles hard to raise Murugan and has an overflowing affection for him. Meanwhile, there is a gang which attacks the villagers at night and steal their goats. Murugan along with his group manages to catch one of the members in an attack and discover that it is a girl. Her name is Pechi (Vasundhra Chiyertra) and her family steals goats for their livelihood. While Murugan develops feelings for her, Pechi’s family is known to be quite dangerous. Veerayi comes to know this and asked her son (Murugan) to marry a girl of her choice. He refuses to accept her wish. Complications arise between them. An old lady of her house tells Veerayi to let her son to marry the girl he loves. A possessive widow tells how her husband was killed to that old lady. Her husband was killed by a group of thieves.The head of the gang is none other than the father of the girl whom her son loves.
