The film’s story revolves around a taxi driver and the son of a rich businessman, in which the two come in contact. The taxi driver, protective of his profession, lets everyone think he is an insurance broker while the rich youngster has the obstacle of retrieving his father’s will and eventually leaves the locker key in the taxi driver’s cab in an accident. The driver is falsely accused and imprisoned due to which his family comes to know his true job as a taxi driver. The debacles that occur thereafter form the climax of the story.

The film tells the story of an architect Kathir (Karu Pazhaniappan), who is talented but also forthright in his dealings. He does not have any girlfriends or many friends. When he is asked to design a spanking new showroom for Honda Dealership, Nandhini (Meenakshi), one of the employees there, meets Kathir in connection with the new design and falls in love with his forthrightness. He does not pay much attention to her overtures. Kathir is approached by Shankar (Rishi), Nandhini’s colleague who happens to like her, to find out what it is that attracts her to Kathir, for which Kathir drags Shankar to Nandhini’s house and asks him to convey his love for Nandhini himself. This increases Nandhini’s attraction towards Kathir’s straightforward attitude. Gradually, Kathir starts to like Nandhini but also fears that she is cheating on him. He goes to the police station, confessing his crime that he killed her. When police come to find the body in his apartment, they are unable to find the body. Kathir’s friend Manmadha Naidu (Thambi Ramaiah) says that last night, Kathir was talking to himself and breaking things in a fit of anger. It is revealed that Kathir had a troubled childhood where his mother eloped after her illegal affair with his father’s friend came to light, and his father committed suicide after finding out about the affair at the same time, which made him view things in a different light. In the end, Nandhini claimed that she planned things to make him reform, but Kathir says he celebrates people dying. Later, Kathir receives a call that Nandhini had committed suicide. He immediately goes to the hospital and finds out that she did not, and she gave him shock to make him realize the wrongdoings. The film ends with Nandini and Kathir uniting and a reflection of Kathir’s father giving acceptance.

Karuppusamy (Karan) is a happy-go-lucky guy who is a small-time contractor for cycle stands. When not at work, he kills time with his friends, taking part in their mimicry troupe where he is famous for his Rajini look-alike acts. Life goes on for the protagonist until Raasathi (Meenakshi) stumbles upon his life. An aspiring medical student, she relates Karuppusamy’s benevolence to her late mother’s. Soon after, they both become victims of the stupid cupid’s bait.
Although in love with the uncle, Karuppusamy insists that education should be her priority over romance. Besides, their love affair wreaks havoc in Raasathi’s upper caste family, which is known for cast prejudices.

Sanjeev comes to Chennai to earn money for his sister’s marriage.He stays with his uncle singamuthu.He comes across meenakshi, a thief and gradually falls for her.After seeing an advertisement for making quick buck by staying in house for one night,Sanjeev and Singamuthu go to Mosquito kumar.Mosquito Kumar takes them to P.Pandu and tells that they need to stay in house for one night so that P.Pandu can sell the house since people are not ready to buy his house fearing presence of ghost rumours planned by P.Pandu’s rivals.They stay in the house one full night and encounter strange things.They then discover it is the handiwork of meenakshi who is paid by opposite party.Now comes the twist in movie,enter Ramki who is actually planning to rent the house to a marwadi family.Sanjeev,Meenakshi,Singamuthu and Mosquito kumar are cheated by Ramki.They then decide to kill Ramki by various techniques but with no success.Finally they plan to scare out the marwadi family.So they approach Singamuthu who is an fake shaman .Singamuthu promises to send ghosts to Seth house.What happens next forms the rest of the story.
