The protagonist, like most people, has positive and negative thoughts; however, in his case, the negative thoughts take on a life of their own.

An under-fire boxing coach, Prabhu is transferred from Hisar in Haryana to Chennai as his bosses at the Boxing Council do not like his disrespectful rule-breaking unconventional ways. In Chennai, he chances upon the raw fighting talent of Madhi, the sibling of aspiring boxer Lakshmi. The day comes where Raj lies with Sunaina in his house and Raj father finds out their love and tries to arrange for marriage. Raj wanted to cheat Sunaina but as his father and grandmother now ready for their marriage, Raj agrees for marriage. At marriage day, Sunaina mother is found out by Raj father’s friend as a prostitute, Raj father tells to stop the marriage, now Raj confess he wanted to reject her after acting as a lover. Hearing this Sunaina become very angry and leaves with her mother away from the marriage area. Mother commits suicide. Sunaina now fully sad gets support from Daniel. Sunaina become a successful business woman shown as getting a Canadian company business deal overcoming Raj’s father’s business deal with the company. Raj’s father tries to arrange marriage between Raj and his business cum alcohol drinking friend’s daughter. But after a party Raj finds the daughter to be a senseless and shameless lady trying to have body contact dance with another guy. Finally Raj realise Sunaina was a good girl and come back to Sunaina house and again start love with Sunaina . Here Sunaina act as loving but finally one day Sunaina tells she hate him. Last scene Raj is shown mad sitting on road side. Now Sunaina come in a big car and sees Raj sitting mad become sad but after thinking the past marriage day Raj confession and her mother suicide, Sunaina close her car and move forward.

Pugazh, a young man, fights against a corrupt politician who wants to acquire the playground of his area, which he and his friends use for sports activities.

The flick starts with travel about Aaarti ( Swapna Menon). She plays the role of a radio jockey in the script. Later on, she meets Pandi (Kathir), who is a taxi driver. Both of them get into various heated arguments and disputes when they first meet. The girl gets annoyed by the driver, on the other hand, Pandi is chased by the police to know the whereabouts of an accused in a murder case. It tells what will happen with Aaarti and Pandi when they next meet.

The filmmaking lacks the zaniness that such a screwball premise requires and the TV serial-like visuals take some time getting used to.

This is when he is introduced to the heinous crime of chain snatching. Ganesh introduces him to Guna (Bobby Simha) who is heading a gang of young college going chain snatches. Madhi joins the gang and starts to earn through chain snatching, and gets all the things he wants. [3]

Iraivi is about women, men and their priorities. It talks about women’s freedom, how men look at it and how women use it.The film is based on the women we see around us and how certain things stay the same, no matter what class or background they belong to.

It is a hilarious film in which the hero is a wedding planner. He incurs losses because of the heroine, who employs him at one point. She wants him to stop her wedding to a guy, who her parents approve, by saying that their horoscopes do not match. However, the hero double-crosses her when he gets to know that the bridegroom is willing to offer him more money to ensure that the wedding happens. Aravind (played by Jiiva) is a flirt who falls in love and marries Divya (Kajal Aggarwal). They have an argument and Divya breaks up with Aravind near a liquor outlet. She returns to his life after a long time only to seek divorce from him. He takes a blank cheque from her and puts another condition for signing the divorce papers. He wants her to live with him in his house for a week and do all the wifely duties such as cooking and cleaning. She agrees to this and the film goes south from there.

Siva and Abhirami are neighbours and close family friends. Their parents belong to the same village and have escaped to Chennai to lead a peaceful life, because the village is divided into two factions due to a generation feud. The parents wish to have get children married to each other which they see as the only way to put an end to the feud. But Siva and Abhirami are always fighting each other. They have two friends in love – Bhagath Singh and Sundarambal, who are separated by Sundarambal’s greedy smuggler father Kasinathan . A plan executed by Siva to help them unite leads to more problems and confusions. The rest deals with how Siva solves all the problems and successfully marries Abhirami and also helps his friends unite.

A battle over agricultural land lends some gravitas to this otherwise nutty tale of an enthusiastic farmer and his reluctant son.

Maruthu (Vishal) is a labourer from Rajapalayam who personally does not tolerate injustice anywhere. He leads a happy life with his grandmother Appathaa (Kulappulli Leela) and his younger brother Kokkarako (Soori). One day, he encounters Bhagyalakshmi alias Bhagyam (Sri Divya), a bold young woman, at a temple, but their first meeting does not go well due to a misunderstanding, and he ends up at a police station. However, with Appathaa’s help, Maruthu soon manages to win Bhagyam’s heart. One day, he sees some goons chasing Bhagyam and her father (G. Marimuthu) near the market where he is working. Maruthu beats up the goons and then learns from Bhagyam’s father why the goons are after them.

Faced with several debts, a village accountant Gandhi Arumugam (Vijay Sethupathi) leaves his village near Madurai to head to Chennai with his best friend Muthupandi Selvam alias Pandi (Yogi Babu) to get all the documents necessary for going to London, where they plan to make money to pay off their debts. They approach two middlemen to help them get the passport and British tourist visa necessary for them to go to London. The middlemen claim that the British Deputy High Commission would prefer to give tourist visas to those who are already married, so the duo are forced to add their “wife’s” name while applying for the passport, with Gandhi adding his “wife’s” name as Karmeghakuzhali, following a suggestion from their real estate broker, Murugesan (Singampuli). However, Gandhi’s visa application is rejected, forcing him to remain in Chennai and take up a job as an accountant with a drama troupe Stray Factory, run by Master (Nassar), while Pandi passes his visa interview and leaves for London with the help of a passport officer, Kumar (S. S. Stanley).

With their parents preoccupied with their new careers, a young girl and her brother befriend a talking monkey who is struggling to be taken seriously as an actor.
