In 1971, amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan over the liberation war of East Pakistan, Pakistan navy, in a top secret mission, plans an attack on Indian majestic-class aircraft carrier INS Vikrant, to gain control over the waters of Bay of Bengal. They send their best-in-class submarine PNS Ghazi, but are intercepted by an Indian submarine INS Karanj (S21). An underwater attack ensues.

On the night of April 1, Kasi and his gang stab Bhagya. Arivu tries to attack Kasi, but Kasi’s rival Doss (Sharath Lohitashwa) stabs Kasi, and Arivu admonishes Kasi for being a paid henchman. Kasi reveals to Arivu that he killed Bhagya on a contract given by Jayaram (Anish Kuruvilla), the President of Saffron, due to the fact that Bhagya tries to help Kasthuri (Sneha), who files a case claiming Saffron’s products to be adulterated, due to which she had lost her son. Arivu is addressed by Kasi as being a worse hitman than he himself is. Arivu then saves Kasi. Kasi tells Arivu that all the products manufactured by this company are adulterated. Arivu takes up a mission to fight such malpractices not only in Saffron, but also in all the other five major food companies, including the company owned by Madhav Kurup (Mahesh Manjrekar). Arivu shares all of his plans with Aadhi. It is revealed that Aadhi is Adhiban Madhav, Madhav’s son. He joined Saffron to know their trade secrets and merge the company with his father’s company.

While fixing the job, Sakthi learns that the house belongs to the central Education-HRD Minister Devaraj. Despite properly fixing the CCTV cameras, they are not be paid and are insulted.

Kalyanam (Soori), his uncle, aspires for a political career, but due to the error committed by a drunk photographer, Saravanan ends up as the local head of a national party, and this upsets Kalyanam, who is left with no option but to leave the country to take up a job in Dubai. His other uncle’s daughter Thaenmozhi (Regina Cassandra) returns to town after many years, and Saravanan is besotted by her and falls in love with her. In the meantime, Kalyanam returns and awaits an opportunity to teach a lesson to Saravanan. Whether Saravanan succeeds in his love and whether Kalyanam manages to put Saravanan in his place is told in the rest of the story.
