Hanumantha Rao and Vishwanath are old college buddies. Their young children, Prabha and Nandini respectively, are also friends. As Rawat is offering holy rituals, the CBI Officer catches Cherry and holds him, however Siddharth rises from the Ganges and stabs Rawat with a trident, after which he fights with all of Rawat’s guards. As he is about to kill Rawat, the CBI Officer attacks him with a taser and arrests him, thereby exonerating Cherry.

Ramachandran (Sachin Khedekar) is a genetics scientist who does not get due credit and funds for his research. He tries creating a human with several talents through baby designing, which leads to the birth of his sons, who are conjoined together above the waist. Since they share a common heart, doctors suggest a sacrificial surgery, to which their mother Sudha (Tara) objects. They begin raising their children, Vimalan and Akhilan (both played by Suriya). In the following years, Ramachandran makes it big with Sudha’s help. His company, Locus Lacto Products, makes huge profit through their product ‘Energion’, the top-selling children’s powdered milk energy drink in the market.

A four-year-old Ram is left in a monastery by a person named Anand Mohan and is promised that Sita will come to take care of him. Ram is innocent and cute. He makes Ram promise that he too, will take care of Sita in return. The film opens and ends with jail sequences. In both scenes, Pazhanivel (Bharath) is seen behind bars. The happenings from his release and his reentry to the jail make the whole film. Pazhanivel, who comes out of prison, puts his sister Karpagambal’s (Kushboo) life on track through his heroics and goes back to jail as a martyr. Pazhanivel was put behind bars when he was 10 years old. He killed his father’s (Yaar Kannan) “keep”, who made his mother’s (Rekha) life a hell by exploiting her to cajole his “keep”. He went to jail, and his father turned an aimless vagabond. Karpagambal, who disowned him when he was sent to jail, grew up and got married to businessman Jeevanandham (Biju Menon). Karpagambal is living in a fool’s paradise, believing the man, who is actually an antisocial element. However, she need not worry about anything. Pazhanivel, who is now 25 years old, has come out of jail. He gets a job in his sister’s house, unearths Jeevanandham’s shady deals, reforms him, and puts his sister’s life on track. Meanwhile, he finds his lady love Deepti (Kajal Aggarwal).

Balaraju, the head of his village, lives with his wife Baby, his two sons; Chandrasekhar Rao and Bangari, and his two daughters. He helps Chandrasekhar become a doctor and builds a local hospital. On the day it opens, Chandrasekhar comes back home with his lover Kausalya, also a doctor. Both express their wish to marry, which Balaraju agrees to. But, they also wish to settle abroad, which upsets Balaraju, leading to the separation of the father and son.
25 years later, Chandrasekhar, a successful doctor in London, tells the story to his son Abhiram and daughter Indu. Abhiram decides to go home to Balaraju and attempt a reconciliation. He meets his friend, Bunny, at the airport and goes to the village on Bunny’s bike the next day. On the way, he witnesses a cockfight organised by Bangari and Baachi; he gets the help of Balaraju to pardon Bangari and get Baachi arrested. Abhiram then introduces himself as a student from London who came here to learn agricultural practices and martial arts. He particularly impresses Balaraju’s family when he saves a child’s life and so is allowed to stay with them.

At this point, Karthik springs a surprise and reveals a shocking bit of information that he is not married and the story he narrated was his friend’s and told it so that it should not repeat in their life as he loved her too. This infuriates her to the core and leaves him breaking in tears. Into this comes in Gautham (Nara Rohith), who is Sandhya’s brother in law and madly in love with her. Based on her Mother’s (Jayasudha) suggestion, she agrees to marry Gautham. Gautham observes that she still loves Karthik and goes to talk with him. After a conversation, he comes to know the Sincerity in Karthik’s love, he lets Sandhya realize it and lets her go to him on their Engagement Day. But all goes vain as Sandhya knows that Karthik left to Ooty leaving her. Finally she too goes to Ooty after 3 months and reunites with him.
