The film is a humorous take on the prevalent prejudices in society. The story is of a young IT professional, Karthick, who needs urgent money to take care of his ailing father who has been diagnosed with cancer. He approaches a loan shark to take care of this need, when he is unable to pay the money back on time, the loan shark threatens to take away his wife. To repay this loan Karthik resorts to unconventional methods of making this money. This sets off a chain of events that result in hilarious and sticky situations. This story is all about an ambitious boy named Seenu alias Srinivasa Rao (Ravi Teja) who dreams of becoming a don. He always likes to be called as ‘Don’ Seenu since childhood due to the strong influence of the Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Don’. He grows up with just one passion – that of becoming the World’s No: 1 Don. Thanks to his enterprising nature, he gains access to the cream of the city’s dons, and uses his cleverness to play off the top two – Madhapur Machiraju (Sayaji Shinde) and Narsingh (Srihari), fierce rivals – against each other. Seenu wants to join one of these dons and grow up in the ranks. He joins hands with Machiraju. In the process he is given a task to go to Germany and win the heart of Narsing’s sister whose marriage is fixed with the son of the super don Naveen Duggal (Mahesh Manjrekar). Seenu goes to Germany and wins the heart of Deepthi (Shriya Saran) and later, he discovers that he was shown the wrong girl. The wrong girl is none another than the sister of Machiraju. Then when Machiraju discovers that his henchman is the one who showed the wrong girl, Machiraju attempts to kill his henchman. This leads to various turns in the plot. What happens next is all about how Seenu achieves his dream of becoming a don and live happily with Deepthi or does he?

Govindan (Manivannan) is a thief who has two children. Aadhi (Pasupathy) and Mathi (‘Chiyaan’ Vikram). Years go by and the two, Aadhi and Madhi, decide to stop stealing and mend their ways and lead a hardworking life along with their father. They migrate to neighboring village and meet a retired agricultural officer, Chidambaram (Vijaya Kumar) who is in deep debts and is under pressure from the village’s landlord, Kalingarayar (Murali) to clear his debts. In efforts to help Chidambaran, Mathi confronts Seetha Lakshmi (Asin), Kalingarayar’s daughter, who comes to collect the money Chidambaram owes her father. Seetha Lakshmi starts to acquire a liking for Mathi but keeps it hidden due to her father’s atrocious temper. In an attempt to teach Kalingarayar a lesson, Mathi forcibly ties the mangalsutram around Seetha’s neck. Kalingarayar, realizing his daughter’s love for Mathi, comes down to arrange a grand re-marriage between the two. But things go awry when Manicka Vel (Biju Menon), Seetha Lakshmi’s maternal uncle comes to town in an effort to stop the wedding between the two as he has plans of marrying her and wiping her family fortune.

The film begins with a trio of friends in college (Malar, Mona, Gayathri). Mona falls in love with Karthik (Shiv Pandit) despite the advice of Malar (Manasi Parekh Gohil) who suspects Karthik to be a complete flirt. One day, while on a date, Mona mentions to Karthik, Malar’s views about him and this gets Karthik to start disliking Malar for interfering in his love life. When Karthik calls Mona, Malar picks the call up accidentally and they get into an argument with Karthik venting out his anger towards her interfering in his love life. Shortly later, he breaks up with Mona. Gayathri believing Mona was a wrong choice in Karthik’s life begins to date Karthik, while Malar is firmly against it. The relationship ends the same way as his relationship with Mona. A year or two later both Karthik and Malar work at the same software company on different floors in the same building. One day, while trying to call his friend on Malar’s floor, he accidentally calls Malar and the two realize their identities and presence in the building and the age-old feud resumes. Over lunch, both Malar’s friend (Vicky) and his own friend (Suja) advise him to sort it with Malar. Vicky questions why Karthik would fight with such a beautiful woman as Malar. Karthik not knowing what Malar looks like decides to take a look at her. When he sees Malar he falls in love at first sight, he then tries to reconcile with Malar, but Malar is not willing to forgive a flirt like Karthik. Karthik becomes desperate and begins to follow Malar and in a chance meeting orchestrated by Karthik he introduces himself as a sweet and kind person by the name of ‘Sundar’. Malar who has never met Karthik face to face, believes his false identity and begins to open up to Sundar.

Sathyamurthy (Vimal) is the son of a schoolteacher DK (Jayaprakash) in Kumbakonam. Sathya is a happy-go-lucky youngster who yearns to do business. To achieve his ‘mission’, he borrows money from all quarters and is almost drowned in debts. Even as his father advises him to start leading life in a right manner, enters Selvi (Sanusha), a student. Sathya gets acquainted to Selvi, and his life takes a turn. Meanwhile, Selvi is in trouble because her uncle Pandiyan (Sarvajit), a rowdy, wants her to marry him. This proposal was ignored by Selvi, and she hated Pandiyan because he killed her father (Santhana Bharathi). One day while goofing around with Sathya, Selvi loses the necklace Pandiyan had given her. Sathya and Selvi escape to Chennai, but Pandiyan and a corrupt inspector come and trouble them. Sathya switches on the police’s cordless phone, through which an Assistant Commissioner of Police (Sampath Raj) comes to know about Pandiyan and arrests him. The film ends with Sathya opening a cable TV station and becoming successful.
