A cop who takes charge at a police station in a hill station goes after the reasons behind a few unnatural deaths which seem mysterious like never before.

One night the family driver (Raj Kapoor) is killed. after a few nights, Suresh does crazy things and says that someone is telling him to do so. Also Murali sees his father being elevated above the bed and gets scared. Anitha who also sees these things decides to call her brother, Ravi (Sundar C.). One night Ravi sees Suresh drowning and rescues him. He initially suspects Manju (Poonam Bajwa), who was hired by the family as a nurse for Murali’s father, but he soon realizes it is not her since she has a different agenda. After that he sets up cameras around the house. A couple of nights later the elder brother goes missing and Ravi sees it. With the cameras he is able to identify the spirit that is causing havoc. Murali identifies her as Maya (Hansika Motwani), his younger sister.

Muthupandi, an aspiring politician, wants to marry Maya, the daughter of his schoolmate who he had a crush on during their school days.

Thangalakshmi, a wealthy woman, arranges for her daughter, Abhi, to get married to an NRI in her native village. However, a twist of events leads to Abhi getting married to her bodyguard, Kathiresan.

Saidai Sathya (Sundar C) has little respect for the law. He parks his car in the middle of the road and creates trouble for other vehicles. A traffic policeman Kandasamy (Vivek) ignores that violation because he is a close friend of Sathya. A social activist and lawyer Udhayamoorthy (Vijayakumar) drags both of them to court for obstructing traffic and causing a nuisance. The court sends them to the Madurai Gandhi Museum for help, where they meet a college student named Meenakshi (Anjali). After Sathya is discharged, he starts a job as a henchman. VBR (Manivannan), a villainous former minister, sends him to steal a confidential file containing vital evidence on the death of collector Leelavathi (Sukanya) at Udayamoorthy’s place. While he is stealing the file, Udayamoorthy is accidentally killed by Sathya. While dying, Udayamoorthy blesses Sathya by saying “Vazhga Valamudan” (Long Live). These last words haunt Sathya, and filled with remorse, he vows to carry on Udayamoorthy’s good work. He gathers evidence to discover Leelavathi’s murder. Sathya continues with his task of exposing VBR and adopts Gandhian principles of nonviolence and peaceful satyagraha. Ezhumalai (Napoleon) is a police inspector who vows to avenge the death of his brother Udhayamoorthy. He thinks Sathya killed him, although he later finds out that he did not. Sathya sits near the Gandhi statue and follows his examples of nonviolence, confident VBR will be arrested. VBR surrenders himself to the police and is arrested. The film ends with Sathya getting the justice.

Kaalaiyan (Sundar C) is a simple person and the best Jallikattu (Bullfight) player in his village. His world revolves around his four younger brothers.

Sundar plays the character of ‘Gate Selvam’, a man who decides to quit the mafia and lead a peaceful life. The story is all about the circumstances that arise because of this decision.

Vetrivel is a person who lives as a temporary driver in Rishikeh, Uttranchal. Annamalai is the owner of Annamalai Transports but not the building-cum-residence of the transports and the staff. He is very innocent and funny. Vivek always arranges a marriage bride for himself but in one way or another Sundhar C. will stop the marriage. Anjali is an ardent fan of MGR and she feels her husband should also be like him. She is the very beautiful and attractive daughter of the Annamalai Transport building owner and she comes to Rishikesh to check the building’s condition and to collect the yearly rent. She meets Sundhar C. and falls in love. Sundhar C. also falls in love with Anjali and reveals his past to her. Sundar C. was a highly accomplished district collector and was transferred to Tanjore. He gets himself in a cat-and-mouse chase with local goon Naachiyaar. Naachiyaar’s son kidnaps Sundhar C.’s friend’s sister who was engaged to another man

The story revolves around an ego clash between father and son. Puli (Sundar C) is a local rowdy and the son of a math teacher Vedhukannu (Prakash Raj). Vedhukannu hates his son for being a rowdy and not being proficient in math. As part of a flashback, it is shown that young Puli was very good in physics, but his father, being a math teacher, wanted him to excel in math, which he was unable to do. As a result of repeated physical and mental abuse, Puli takes the wrong route to grow up. In the meantime, rival gangs and police try to kill him, but he is accidentally saved by his half-sister, a daughter from an affair his father had. Puli helps his half-sister in return for her unexpected help and vouches for her safety. The rival gangs kill her and put the blame on his father. How Puli brings the truth to light and unites with his family completes the rest of the movie.

A family returns to their hometown to sell their ancestral palace. However, their arrival is marred by supernatural events, and Ravi, a relative of the family, decides to uncover the truth.

Thalainagaram dwells on a gang of kind-hearted henchmen who face several troubles after they decide to reform. Right (Sundar C) and Balu (Bose Venkat) work as henchmen to a don Bhai (Judo Rathnam). Enters Dhivya (Jyothirmayi), who settles down in the same locality where Right lives. Meanwhile Right develops a difference of opinion with Bhai. Right ends up killing Bhai’s son. Bhai takes revenge by killing Balu. It brings a change of heart in Right and his men. When they decide to reform and lead a decent life, enters bad cop Prakash Raj, who forces them to take up rowdyism again. Meanwhile Bhai is on the pursuit of putting an end to Right.There is series of encounters between Right, Bhai ad Gopinath and finally Right prevails.

The film is about relationships between two families where hardships and affections are on the competencies.
It centers on five brothers: Elder one As the film moves ahead it unravels about enmity with other family where Devasena (Simran) is a pampered daughter. But Gunasekaran is kind enough in breaking the hardships and getting united by arranging nuptials for Devasena with his brother Karunakaran. However, Devasena mistakes Prabhakaran to be her bridegroom. When things are unraveled and Prabhakaran turns away from Devasena’s offer of marrying him, she vows to alienate him from his family by marrying Karunakaran.
Rest of the film is about the hand-in-hand combat between Prabhakaran and Devasena with each one moving around with their smart plans.
