Six navy men are washed up on a mysterious island when their helicopter crashes into the sea. Their lives are at risk when they find the men on the island are dwarves, who consider them as monsters.

The story revolves around a man (played by Dr. Raj) who grows up believing that women cannot be trusted, all due to his experiences of a troubled childhood after his parents’ failed marriage and his father’s suicide. The incident creates a deep wound in his mind and he suspects every woman he comes across to have a questionable character. This leads to him walking out of his marriage that was fixed with Malavika, who plays a double role for the first time in her career in this movie. Years later, they happen to meet each other and share their experiences in life. Malavika is now a Deputy Commissioner in the police force, and has a daughter (Malavika again) while Raj has become the Chief Secretary. Malavika wants to get to know Raj’s family well and during her visit along with her daughter to Raj’s house happens to see certain very disturbing and then highly confusing sights. Thangapandi, a villager, falls in love with Mayakka, a pretty woman. But Thangapandi’s father wants him to marry Rasathi, a relative.

The movie revolves around Chandru (Karthik) and his lover Niveditha (Malavika) in the backdrop of Ooty. Niveditha’s father Mahadevan (Manivannan) is against love marriages and he finds out that his daughter Niveditha is in love with someone. Mahadevan asks for the details of Niveditha’s lover. But Niveditha as per Chandru’s plan, hands over Azhagesh’s (Vivek) (who happens to be Chandru’s friend), photo to Mahadevan and informs him as her lover. Mahadevan sends some goons to attack Azhagesh and the proceedings happen comically.
Meanwhile, Chandru and Niveditha keeps planning on how to make Mahadevan nod for their wedding. One day, Mahadevan’s car gets repaired on the way. Chandru along with his family also comes on the same way. Seeing Mahadevan helpless on the road, Chandru picks him up and drops him at home thereby getting into good books of Mahadevan. Slowly, Mahadevan and Chandru become good family friends. But still, Chandru and Niveditha do not reveal their love to their parents and are happy that both families are in good terms now.

Harish is a good-for-nothing happy-go-lucky-guy who idles away his time in his village. He is a consummate liar and always tries to boast of himself through lies. With lies he tries to impress his friends and villagers boasting of his romantic escapades. And one such lie involving a village belle (played by Malavika Menon) lands him in troubles. How he extricates himself from these troubles forms the rest of the story.
