Enters Koochan (Ramakrishnan) who falls for her instantly. Koochan’s mother Chandra (Agavamma) helps the poor Thulasi to pursue her studies. However coming to know about their romance, Agavamma insults Thulasi and her grandmother and drives them out of the village when Koochan is out on a school tour. A shocked Koochan returns only to meet with a road mishap. Meanwhile, Thulasi, who seeks refuge in a family at Tuticorin is forced to marry a rowdy Drama (Sulile Kumar). On the day of their marriage, he gets arrested by police. His wayward lifestyle invites trouble and he eventually gets arrested for murdering a youth.
Namma Veetu Kalyanam 2002
Meena and Geetha fall in love with two guys, who apparently are college professors. The girls’ brother Krishnamurthy, an MLA, abandons the plan to get them married to ministers’ sons and reluctantly accedes to their wish. The girls are married off to their respective lovers, only to learn that the duo are not college professors, but two unemployed youths in search of jobs. Thrown out of the house by the furious family, the men open a fast food eatery to prove a point to their unforgiving wives. How the matter is resolved forms the rest of the story.
Kicha Vayasu 16 2005
Kicha Vayasu, a man known as the Collector, returns to his childhood city of Nagercoil to demolish an old school, which he recognises as his former school. His reminiscences of his school days in Nagercoil form the main theme of the film.
The film then transitions to when Kicha is a 16-year-old boy. After Nirmala, a teacher whom Kicha has a crush on becomes the headmistress of their school, Kicha, who often teases people around him, becomes very well-behaved towards Nirmala. Because of this, he often garners her support. However, Kicha, being his usual self, begins leading a group of errant boys who perform various misdemeanors around their town. This includes stealing and selling dishes from the school and eating in hotel restaurants without paying the bill.
Kicha and his friends are finally caught when they attempt to escape after not paying a hotel bill. The hotel owner thrashes them so thoroughly that the other boys inform the owner on Kicha and claim that he taught them to do such things. When the boys’ parents are notified of this, many become angry, claiming that Kicha has misled their children and made them wayward.
Padikathavan 1985
Rajasekhar (Sivaji Ganesan) is the loving elder stepbrother of Rajendran (Rajinikanth) and Ramu (Vijaybabu). After his marriage, his wife (Vadivukkarasi) sends his brothers out when he goes to Chennai. Rajendran, the older of the two, toils and becomes a taxi driver to educate and bring up his brother, but his brother strays and gets mixed up with some wrong-doers. He marries a girl Manju (Ramya Krishnan) from a rich family. The girl’s uncle (Jaishankar), is a smuggler who sells drugs using his older brother’s lorries. Jaishankar later kills his brother and puts the blame on Rajendran. Rajasekhar, the presiding judge, realizes that Rajendran is his long-lost brother and returns as a lawyer to save him.
