An honest youth leader is irked by his corrupt-politician father and his political aspirations to become the chief minister by bullying the villagers. He decides to contest the elections and help the villagers but faces severe oppressions from his brothers-in-law. In a turn of events, his father is killed and the youth leader is blamed for his murder.

Ankitha ( Gayu ) and Yuva Krishna fall in love with each other in college. But when Yuva tells his friends about being close to Gayu and describes her, she gets angry and they split apart. The film begins outlining the sour relationship between the two villages, Singampatti and Puliyampatti.
