Mahesh stays with his brother and his sister-in-law. He falls in love with his colleague, Shalu. Initially, she is not interested but accepts his love later. Gokul is a police officer, who is waiting to avenge Mahesh’s brother for his personal loss. Mahesh-Shalu’s engagement gets fixed, but suddenly Mahesh’s sister-in-law gets murdered. What happens from there is the rest of the movie.

Madhava Padayachi (Sathyaraj) narrates his life to a young man who saves him from shame. The man goes to his home village by a bus and feels for Madhava, who was a rich farmer long time back in his village.
Madhava is fondly called Madhavar. He, his wife Velayi (Archana), and their three sons live a happy life in their village. He is an honest and hardworking farmer who will do anything for others. And he is well-respected by everyone in the village. Velayi is his strength, but the others in the family do not approve of his nature, especially in money matters.

Gandhi is an IT guy who suffers from Pseudobulbar, and he uncontrollably laughs during stressful moments. He is taken to a Shiva temple and tied with a holy ornament, which is very strong, but it would bring a threat to him if separated.

Ajith is Red (it stands for Revolution, Education, Development), an orphan who has since grown up to be the local don in Madurai. Naturally he possesses a heart of gold and when not bashing up bad guys, he spends his time forcing schools to accept students without donations and taking care of orphans. Cheeni (Salim Ghouse) is his biggest enemy. Red falls for Gayatri (Priya Gill), the daughter of his friend and confidante Narayanan (Manivannan) and helps her without her knowledge. She too likes him but wants him to give up his life of violence. Meanwhile, a reporter (Rajesh) for Ananda Vikatan begins to serialise Red’s story under the name Aadi and it becomes quite the rage among readers

The film’s story revolves around three cousins Arjun “Ajju” (Arya), Kannan “Kutty” (Bobby Simha), and Divya “Ammu” Raghavan (Sri Divya), who share a close bond since their childhood. Kutty is a software engineer whose heart and soul is back home in his village. Ajju, whose parents are divorced, is a bike mechanic who lives his life on his own terms. Ammu has completed her B.Com and aspires to do her MBA from IIM but is compelled to get married to workaholic corporate executive Shivaprasad “Prasad” (Rana Daggubati) because of her family astrologer’s dire predictions. After their wedding, Ammu moves to Bangalore as Prasad is settled there. Kutty too relocates to Bangalore for his job, while Ajju joins a biker gang as a mechanic in the same city.

The movie revolves around Chandru (Karthik) and his lover Niveditha (Malavika) in the backdrop of Ooty. Niveditha’s father Mahadevan (Manivannan) is against love marriages and he finds out that his daughter Niveditha is in love with someone. Mahadevan asks for the details of Niveditha’s lover. But Niveditha as per Chandru’s plan, hands over Azhagesh’s (Vivek) (who happens to be Chandru’s friend), photo to Mahadevan and informs him as her lover. Mahadevan sends some goons to attack Azhagesh and the proceedings happen comically.
Meanwhile, Chandru and Niveditha keeps planning on how to make Mahadevan nod for their wedding. One day, Mahadevan’s car gets repaired on the way. Chandru along with his family also comes on the same way. Seeing Mahadevan helpless on the road, Chandru picks him up and drops him at home thereby getting into good books of Mahadevan. Slowly, Mahadevan and Chandru become good family friends. But still, Chandru and Niveditha do not reveal their love to their parents and are happy that both families are in good terms now.

The film is about a 50-year-old vanity van owner, Caravan Krishnan, who goes out of his way to help those in inter-caste relationships sort out their issues, and makes a point against caste and religion-based division.

He finds Kathiravan (Pandiarajan) wandering in London aimlessly without a job. Now, they both need jobs and money. Kathir persuades Shiva to join a bank robbery planned by Bhaskharan (Manivannan). His stammering brother Natrajan (Mayilsamy) and Aishwarya (Mumtaj), who is the former’s lover, lands them in more trouble, as the robbery ends vainly. Aishwarya informs the police about the robbery and tells that the entire plan was hatched by Bhaskar. Bhaskar hides the money before getting arrested, and the place is known only to his lawyer Vedimuthu (Vadivelu). Aishwarya fakes to be in love with Vedimuthu to find where the money is hidden.
Meanwhile, to find a safe cover, Shiva and Kathir plan to imitate Saravanan, the grandson of a rich elderly couple: Shiva Kumar (Vijayakumar) and his wife Parvathi (Srividya). They have not seen their grandchild since his birth. Shiva and Kathir end up disguising Kadhir’s body and Shiva’s voice to make up for Saravanan in front of the blind couple. Ganesh (Delhi Ganesh), who knows Kathir before, makes several attempts to expose the truth to the couple, but all fails, due to Shiva and Kadhir’s luck. All of a sudden, Anjali (Ankitha) arrives in the disguise of Saravanan’s lover. She calls on all the relatives of Shiva Kumar and Parvathi. The relatives arrive in Shiva’s absence. Finding no way out, Kathir pretends to have fainted unconscious, and he gets admitted to the hospital. Shiva comes to his rescue, and says that he is Dr. Karthikeyan, a friend of Saravanan from America….
