Two honest and bold police officers Adhi Narayanan, (Kamal Hassan) and Abbas (Arjun Sarja) devise a masterful plan to bring a terrorist group in control, and send two secret vigilance officers, named Anand and Shiva on an operation called Operation “Dhanush”. The objective is to infiltrate a terrorist group headed by a man named Badri, and relay information back to Abbas. After a year while relaying information to Abbas, Anand gets caught, but he commits suicide before the terrorists can interrogate him. With information relayed by Anand, Abbas and Adhi know that the terrorists are picking up someone important and going to Trichy.

Gundello Godari is about a newlywed couple who are forced to battle it out against a devastating flood of the River Godavari. They lose all hope of survival, so they decide to narrate the darkest moments of their lives to each other after they find a support to rest on. The film is set in 1986, in Bangarappeta village near Rajahmundry which is a part of the State of Andhra Pradesh, India.

Bose (Srikanth) is an Army commando. When Union Minister Kottaiperumal (Kalabhavan Mani) is kidnapped by terrorists, Bose goes on a daring rescue operation and manages to pull it off, Kottaiperumal makes him his personal security guard. However, Bose gets to know Kottaiperumal’s real side. When Kottaiperumal tries to misbehave with a college girl Charulatha (Sneha), Bose rises up in anger. In trying to save her, he ends up shooting Kottaiperumal. Though he escapes with some injuries, Kottaiperumal gets Bose sacked from the Army. Distraught and disconsolate, Bose lands in Chennai and meets Charulatha, who is a student in Kalashektra. Upon meeting her, the duo falls in love. However, Kottaiperumal is waiting for revenge and has his goons on Bose and Charulatha’s track. After some fights, Kottaiperumal’s men bump off Bose’s father (Manikka Vinayagam) and kidnap his family members and Charulatha. By then, Bose also stumbles upon the links of Kottaiperumal. All ends well, and Bose is reinstated in the Army.

Sivakumar (Vishal), a meek person who owns a mobile sales and service center in Madurai, falls for a schoolteacher Malar (Lakshmi Menon). His father Kalyanasundaram (Bharathiraja), a retired government employee, shows much care on Siva’s elder brother Nagaraj (Guru Somasundaram), an honest government officer. Meanwhile, there is a big mafia gang led by Simmakkal Ravi (Sharath Lohitashwa), who rules Madurai with an iron fist. Sethu (Vikranth), a friend of Siva, helps him woo Malar. Sethu helps his ex-lover Amudha (Krithi Shetty) escape from Ravi’s chief henchman Bharani (Harish Uthaman). Meanwhile, both Nagaraj and Sethu get killed by Ravi. Siva and Kalyanasundaram draw up separate plans to eliminate Ravi. Kalyanasundaram hires a hit-squad to do his bidding, while Siva monitors Ravi’s activities closely, biding his time for the right moment. The hit squad makes a failed attempt at Ravi, and he tracks the source down to his father. Just as Kalyanasundaram is about to be ‘found out’ in a trap set by Ravi, Siva interferes and manages to secure his father. Siva continues to be on Ravi’s heels, but he too gets exposed, and the story culminates with Siva mustering up all his courage strength out of his survival instinct. Siva kills Ravi and his associates and manages to retrieve the cash that his father had paid to the hit-squad.

The film’s story revolves around a taxi driver and the son of a rich businessman, in which the two come in contact. The taxi driver, protective of his profession, lets everyone think he is an insurance broker while the rich youngster has the obstacle of retrieving his father’s will and eventually leaves the locker key in the taxi driver’s cab in an accident. The driver is falsely accused and imprisoned due to which his family comes to know his true job as a taxi driver. The debacles that occur thereafter form the climax of the story.

Pandi And his friends comes across a deaf woman Kadhambari (Nayantara) and Pandi immediately falls in love with her. But Kadhambari learns about her father’s death from Meena Kumari and is determined to revenge his death by going after Killi and killing him. Pandi agrees to help her in her mission, with the promise that he will hold Killi’s shoulders while she stabs him.
