Ivan Chatriyan is a 2011 Indian Tamil film, directed by Praveen Sri and produced by Ram Gopal Varma. The film stars Jagapathi Babu, Vimala Raman and Tanikella Bharani in lead roles. The film had musical score by Ilayaraaja.

The movie begins in a hospital where a mafia is involved in adulterating drugs. Unfortunately, a junior doctor Alamu (Meenakshi) manages to stumble upon their antisocial act. To safeguard themselves, the gang sets out to wipe out Alamu. She meets Perumal (Sundar C), a petty thief who does the job of recovering loans for an agency. He eventually vows to protect Alamu from her distress by putting an end to the gang and their atrocities.

He sees restaurant receipts in her bag, checks the CCTV footages, and finds that another man Ravi (Prinz Nithik) had accompanied her prior to her meeting him. From her cell phone, he finds her house address, travels to Palakkad, and asks Nandhu to stay behind and guard the dead body. He is not able to find any information from Nina’s family and leaves, but Nina’s sister makes a call to Sekar (John Vijay) and informs him about Ramesh.
