A 14-year-old forlorn Kalyani delivers a boy in seclusion, fearing societal backlash and incapacity. She abandons him, heavy-hearted, placing him inside a moving goods train, which a slum dweller finds. The slum procures him as their common child, naming him Surya and they collectively raise him honest. He grows up, intolerant of injustice especially to the poor, though he wonders why his biological mother had impetuously abandoned him. A yellow shawl was the only identity he had of his mother, which she had placed him in when casting him away.
Devaraj, a powerful don who is kind yet feared by most in the society, also fights injustice, but by violent means. Ramana, an auxiliary of Devaraj’s, whose abusive demeanour led Surya to attack him, succumbs to his death. Surya gets apprehended for this. An exasperated Devaraj soon perceives Ramana’s felony, realises Surya’s cause was genuine and bails him out. Thus, Surya and Devaraj get to understand each other as both share similar social ideologies despite getting off on the wrong foot. Devaraj declares Surya his “Thalapathi”, a best friend.

Akbar, a powerful man of Mangalore underworld, shares his business lead with Mani Menon and Uncle Sam. They share a good relationship until Anto, grandson of Uncle Sam, creates havoc.

Set in the city of Chennai, the narrative follows the love story of Yamuna and Vettri, childhood sweethearts. Yamuna works the night shift as a customer service representative at a telecom company, while Vettri is employed at a regular day job. Due to their different work timings, the couple usually rendezvous in the wee hours when the roads are desolate and the city is still asleep. One such night, Yamuna (Shruthi) is abducted by sex traffickers while returning from work and her disappearance sets in motion a desperate mission by Vettri (Dhruvah, debut) to save her. The kidnappers run an underground network with international thugs who earn millions by exploiting their human cargo. Trapped along with Yamuna, are three other girls who have also been tricked and captured to be sold to the highest bidder. Desperate and terrified, the girls have only each other for support in this ordeal, till they reach their destination.

The film is set in North Madras area where a Settu (Atul Kulkarni) used to employ Guna (Sampath Raj) for car seizure before he is double crossed by Burma (Michael Thangadurai), who takes over the hot-seat. Burma is aided by his girlfriend Kalpana (Reshmi Menon) and sidekick Boomer (Karthik Sabesh). Their mission is to seize 28 cars for Settu and raise money so that Burma can marry Kalpana. Meanwhile another gang of robbers led by a lady killer gets involved, leading to chase, abduction, double cross and killing.

Followed by Ma Seok-do, who heads to a foreign country to extradite a suspect. However, he discovers additional murder cases and learns about a killer who had committed crimes against tourists for many years.

Sanjay (Arjun Sarja), a fearless and upright police officer, is transferred to a new city. He lives with his widowed mother (Kavitha) and sister. He also has a half-brother Ashok (Nassar) and stepmother. Ashok works for the corrupted minister Sabapathy (Captain Raju), who is involved in liquor smuggling, procuring, and illegal gambling. He strongly supports the politician Sathyamoorthy (Charuhasan). Sabapathy decides to target Sanjay’s weak point: his wife Anjali. What transpires later forms the crux of the story.

Right Yaaa Wrong is a story of two cops, Ajay (Sunny Deol) and Vinay (Irrfan Khan), where an intense rivalry leads them on a battle for supremacy.
Ajay and Vinay are best friends. Ajay’s wife (Isha Koppikar) is found brutally murdered. Ajay is the prime suspect and Vinay is handed the case.
