A spirited young girl would stop at nothing to get the first love of her life, even if it takes seven years and several heartbreaks.

Vijayalakshmi Balakrishnan alias Viji is a happy housewife who finds happiness by competing in contests. Despite being belittled by her twin sisters and father, she is happy with her life with her husband Balakrishnan alias Baalu and son Siddharth. One day, Viji takes part in a contest organized by Hello FM celebrating World Tourism Day. She ends up winning the contest. Later, Viji happens to come across a an audition called “Neenagalum RJ Aagalaam”. She signs up and for it and gets the job of a disc jockey who anchors a late-night show.

Ensuring that Kavya never finds out his true identity, Siva as Remo establishes a close friendship with her, but is unable to convince her to end her engagement with Vishwa. Undeterred, he organizes a massive surprise on her birthday and proposes to her as Siva. Later, Gopalakrishnan finds a forsaken baby (by his ex-wife) in a dustbin and leaves the baby to an orphanage. Gopalakrishnan’s father (Manivannan), an army officer, comes to live with his son and he helps his son to win back Usha’s heart.
