Moodar Koodam 2013
Naveen (Naveen), Sendrayan (Sendrayan), Kuberan (Kuberan), and Vellaichami aka White (Rajaji) are four youngsters. The story begins with a meeting of them in a police station where they are held in connection with a robbery case. Disillusioned with society and their place in it, they plan to rob White’s treacherous uncle, who they believe has left for a pilgrimage with his entire family. Instead, they find them at home and get involved in a quagmire involving moneylenders, enforcers and the mafia.

Pulavar Samy (G.M.Kumar) an unsuccessful musician who wastes his life with the bottle, his teetotaler son Sannaasi (Sasikumar) who is the head of a ‘Tharai Thappattai’ music and dance troupe and the alcoholic Sooravali (Varalakshmi Sarathkumar) the lead dancer who has the temper of a man but is in love with Sannasi and has a soft corner for Pulavar Samy. A fan of Sooravali, Karuppiah (R.K. Suresh) proposes marriage to Sooravali through Sannasi and her mother, who is impressed with his government job and his decent behavior gets Sannasi to convince the girl to agree and what happens next forms the rest of the story.

Notwithstanding the overbearing parental pressures, Nancy marries Victor (Prakash Raj), a multimillionaire businessman, while Dhinakar marries his cousin – but not before the lead pair enters into a sly pact. Dhinakar and Nancy contrive to marry the spouses chosen by their parents, only to officially dissolve their unhappy unions later and thereby pave way to their union. After a sequence of events, Nancy successfully convinces Victor about her unreserved enthusiasm for her past love, gets her divorce, and takes the first step towards making a fresh start, but events overtake her in an unexpected final act.
