A man and woman have been neighbors since they were children, but they have different perspectives on their relationship.

Two police trainees witness the kidnapping of a girl one night on their way home. Unable to get help from the local police and determined to rescue the girl, they set out on their own amateur investigation.

Ranganayaki (Vadivukkarasi), a rich women, has three sons : Gopi (Pandu), Madhu (Chinni Jayanth) and Balu (Ramki). Ranganayaki wants absolutely a grandson and she will pass on her whole inheritance to her son who has a male child. The elder sons have only daughters and Balu is still a bachelor.
Balu is a singer in the marriage functions and he falls in love with Swathi (Kushboo), a girl from a middle-class family. He gets married to her and Swathi becomes pregnant. Balu’s best friend, Raja (Vivek), an honest journalist, is married to Shanthi (Anju Aravind) and his wife is also pregnant. Swathi and Shanthi deliver the same day. Balu has a daughter although Raja has a son.
In the meantime, Ranganayaki has a severe heart attack and the doctor says to not reveal shock news. In the hospital, a misunderstanding happens and Balu’s father shows Raja’s son to Ranganayaki in a serious condition. Ranganayaki is immediately recovered. Balu maintains the lie to save his mother’s life. What transpires next forms the rest of the story.

In 2020, three young blokes, Jil, Jung & Juck with nothing in common between them, are assigned the task of transporting an Ambassador car coated with Cocaine-paint by the dreaded drug-lord, Dheivanayagam. Along the way they encounter Narasimhan with an almost identical car who makes small talk & tries to gel with the trio. After a night of drinking the trio escape the pub without his knowledge. But only later do they realize that in a drunken stupor they have taken Narasimhan’s car & not their own.

Pandi And his friends comes across a deaf woman Kadhambari (Nayantara) and Pandi immediately falls in love with her. Kadhambari is the daughter of a sincere police officer Ravikumar (Azhagam Perumal)because his father loves police profession, who is in pursuit of Killivallavan aka Killi (Parthiban), a dreaded gangster and politician who had killed Ravikumar’s wife and had caused Kadhambari to lose her hearing in her childhood. Kadhambari seeks Pandi’s help in finding her father, who has not spoken to her for the past two days, to which he agrees. Pandi soon learns that Ravikumar had been killed by Killi, but hides the matter from Kadhambari as it would make her upset. But Kadhambari learns about her father’s death from Meena Kumari and is determined to revenge his death by going after Killi and killing him. Pandi agrees to help her in her mission, with the promise that he will hold Killi’s shoulders while she stabs him.

Follows a new couple and their families, who find themselves examining modern love and family dynamics amidst clashing cultures, societal expectations and generational differences.
