Defense Minister Ritwik Sodhi passes a gun amendment bill that enables one to own a gun. This is the story of how Happy, Lucky, Max Pain, Uncle Fixit, Serena and William’s stories intertwine among themselves amidst passing of the gun bill.

Kannan (Vimal), Ayyavu (Bharani), Rajamani (Gaurav Narayanan), and Mariappan (Nishanth) are four friends who live their lives in their own way in Madurai. Kannan, a wedding videographer, comes across his childhood friend Radha (Anjali), who is a compere in a local cable TV channel, and love blossoms. However, one event changes the course of their life. Kannan bashes a youth for taking obscene video clippings of a girl and blackmailing her with ulterior motive. The youth’s father (Kamala theatre owner Raju) finds out the men behind the attack on his son. He hatches a conspiracy and ensures that the friends themselves turn foes for each other. In the meantime, it is time for Kannan to tie the knot with Radha. Did the baddie succeed in his mission is the crux of the story.

Madhava (Madhavan) is a doctor, and a single appearance has made him the heartthrob of thousands of girls. He marries Simi (Simran), but a revelation about his past separates them and takes them as far as divorce. They remain friends though, even going so far as to fix up each other’s second marriages. Simi decides to get Madhava married to Chella (Sneha), a nurse at his hospital, while he tries to fix up her marriage with a dancer Azhagu (Lawrence Raghavendra). Madhava and Chella’s wedding and Simi and Azhagu’s wedding are on the same date. Azhagu then marries his cousin due to his father’s greed for wealth. Chella’s parents find out about Madhava’s past and call off the wedding. In the end, Madhava and Simi remarry. Chella marries Kumaran (Vivek), Madhava’s colleague, who was interested in her ever since he became Madhava’s understudy in the hospital.

India Pakistan is a story of how two young advocates Karthik (Vijay Antony) and Melina (Sushma Raj) counter lots of fights and fun together. Living in rented rooms in the same building, they lock up each other, fight, hide in each other’s study, and sneak out each other’s cases, trying to prove they are a better advocate than the other. They travel from place to place, regarding a village dispute case. In the end Melina decides to encounter the villain for the sake of two young lovers of the village. Karthik and his friends save her by playing a tactful game with the villain, who claims a DVD in which an encounter is shot. Karthik, Melina, and the others solve the mystery and unite when they confess their love for each other.

The film starts with Shakeel (Rahul Dev) killing his own brother for information, which is also known to Veeru Dada (Kolla Ashok Kumar). In the encounter, Veeru jumps off into a river from a cliff. After 18 years, we have Veeru with a leg cut off giving info to Raja (Mahesh Babu), a mischievous thief who robs banks in style. Raja gives Veeru a share of 50% for all his tip offs. Raja becomes more daring as the price tag on his head increases by thousands. There is another mischievous thief Panasa (Bipasha Basu). She and her uncle follow Raja so she can dupe him and escape with all the looted money. As the things go on a frolicking way between Panasa and Raja, Shakeel is searching for Veeru. Veeru realizes Shakeel will kill him soon. Hence, Veeru offers a big diamond to Raja and asks him to escort his daughter Bhuvana (Lisa Ray) to his brother Dharma’s place.
