Arjun (Arjun) is a carefree youngster who can’t work on a single job for more than three months. Everyone including his grandparents (SP Balasubramaniam and Lakshmi) considers him as nuisance. When Arjun’s grandparents ask him to take care of himself and leave to US, he starts a ‘bad news delivery service’ with his friend Karnan (Venkatesh Harinathan)! The idea is to convey ‘unfortunate’ or ‘bad’ news to people. In the process they stop the marriage of a young girl who is the sister of Arjun’s girlfriend Anjali (Aditi Chengappa). When Anjali comes to know about Arjun and his profession, she hates him and there comes an ego clash between Arjun and Karnan as well. Can Arjun solve all the complex issues and lead a happy life?

Deva is cheated out of some money by Sailaja’s father, and as revenge, he finds out where Sailaja now lives and kidnaps her from right under her parents’ noses. Sailaja’s father realizes that the only person who is daring enough and cares enough to get his daughter back is Arjun and goes to him with his pleas. It takes much convincing, but Arjun finally decides to rescue Sailaja but for reasons other than love. How successful is Arjun in rescuing Sailaja? Will Sailaja realize that Arjun was true in his love? Will they fall in love again?

Aravindan (Vijay), Chandru (Suriya), and Krishnamurthy (Ramesh Khanna) value friendship over everything else, even family. Aravindan tells the truth that in their young ages, he unknowingly killed Chandru’s deaf and mute brother. Gautham records this and makes Chandru hear it. Chandru and Aravindan fight and go by their ways. Aravindan tries to convince Chandru but falls from the top of a mountain. Chandru believes that Aravindan is dead, but after five years, he finds out that Aravindan is not dead but has ended up in a coma. Gautham is now torturing his family a lot. When he comes to know that Chandru has come back, he starts to beat him up. After hearing Chandru’s cry of pain, Aravindan wakes up from his coma. He beats up Gautham, and everyone rejoins and lives happily.
