The main character Kartik has attraction to forest and animals since he listened to stories of forest, animal, hills etc. from his father. He often acts like animals he sees! Never loved by mother and his dad committed suicide when he was child because his mothers relation with anyother. Though he gets a girls company with help of his friend, he was freaked out with that girls attitude and later he finds his real love with a common indian movie’s incident.

The flick starts with travel about Aaarti ( Swapna Menon). She plays the role of a radio jockey in the script. Later on, she meets Pandi (Kathir), who is a taxi driver. Both of them get into various heated arguments and disputes when they first meet. The girl gets annoyed by the driver, on the other hand, Pandi is chased by the police to know the whereabouts of an accused in a murder case. It tells what will happen with Aaarti and Pandi when they next meet.

With the baby’s arrival, Rathnavel tells her that the child reminds him about his weakness, and all hell breaks loose when Bhanu realizes her husband’s true colors. Rathnavel beats up Bhanu until she is almost unconscious. A few days later, she files for a divorce and stays with her parents. Bhanu meets Ravichandran (Prithviraj), a happy-go-lucky guy who is a friend of her brother (Raaghav). He proposes to her, and they later get married, leading a happy love life. Rathnavel, who had vowed to make life miserable for Bhanu, returns. He kidnaps her and places a cadaver in her home before faking an accident with a cooking gas cylinder. After that, Rathnavel brings Bhanu to his bungalow and locks her in a soundproof room. When Ravi goes to Rathnavel’s house, a series of clues lead him to find Bhanu. After distracting Rathnavel, Ravi calls the police and rescues Bhanu. Rathnavel is sent to a mental asylum where he later hangs himself. This seems to be a true story which happened in Andhra Pradesh in the late 1990s and Rathnavel’s (name changed) family members are there in Kakinada, but the movie ends with a happy note with Ravi and a pregnant Bhanu happily married.

The house owner will only allow a family of four, but Maran has three children, making it five members in his family, including him and his wife.
