Kannan (Vimal), Ayyavu (Bharani), Rajamani (Gaurav Narayanan), and Mariappan (Nishanth) are four friends who live their lives in their own way in Madurai. They are callous youths who go hammer and tongs to make both ends meet. Kannan, a wedding videographer, comes across his childhood friend Radha (Anjali), who is a compere in a local cable TV channel, and love blossoms. However, one event changes the course of their life. Kannan bashes a youth for taking obscene video clippings of a girl and blackmailing her with ulterior motive. The youth’s father (Kamala theatre owner Raju) finds out the men behind the attack on his son. He hatches a conspiracy and ensures that the friends themselves turn foes for each other. In the meantime, it is time for Kannan to tie the knot with Radha. Did the baddie succeed in his mission is the crux of the story.

The story starts with Vasu (Vaibhav) narrating his story from childhood. He has four close friends: Kanagasabhapathi (Karunakaran), Kalyanasundaram (Arjunan), Pattabi (Venkat Sundar), and Venky (Karthik Priyadarshan). The five friends worship Seenu Anna (Robo Shankar) for his dedication to friendship, and one day, he advises to them that marriage will spoil friendship.
All the friends take this seriously, except for Vasu, who has a liking for girls. After failing many attempts of falling in love at school and college (his friends spread rumors that Vasu is gay), he decides to leave to Chennai so that he would get an opportunity to love a girl. He stays with Nelson (VTV Ganesh), who has affairs with many rich and beautiful girls. Nelson persuades Vasu to trap a rich girl, citing that middle-class and college girls will have bigger competition and high expectations, but rich girls have very less expectations, and many guys do not try to date them, assuming that it is impossible to woo them. He hands the pub membership card to Vasu so that he can get to see many rich girls.

The film is a comic thriller with Mirchi Senthil playing a soft spoken village boy working in Chennai. Robo Shankar plays the role of his room mate while debutante Shruthy Bala is paired opposite him.

Hanumantha Rao and Vishwanath are old college buddies. Their young children, Prabha and Nandini respectively, are also friends. But in the 1980’s they are separated as Vishwanath moves with his family from India to Switzerland. Years pass and Prabha is now a grown man and a leader of music group. When he rejects the advances of gangster’s daughter, he finds himself in hot water. The gangster tries to force Prabha into marriage, and the only way to save himself is to convince the sentimental don that his heart is already taken.

The film tells the story about Denes and Karadi, living in this 21st Century, and living life to the fullest just like any other youngsters. They aspire to be where the limelight is, work for their dough but with an exception, their lives also bring the fast life of cheating and deceiving if only to lead the life of the rich and famous, but in this case, a wannabe life of the rich and famous. Just like any other teenagers fresh from college, starting out their lives seem like a possible feat where the sky is the limit, and as the saying goes, go where no man has gone before and have no fear treading on calm water.

A singer (Bharathi) who is tricked into marriage by his mother-in-law, his wife (Gowri )is enormously possessive about his fame and his female fans. One day they encounter into a fight and he decides escape from home. On the way he meets someone in the bus who is also running from her life as a dancer because her husband forcefully lets her to prostitution. They both experience some random incidents together and meet an one old couple, who are still very much enjoying love and life. Eventually the old couple dies, and by watching the couple they fall in love themselves. Then Bharathi get a prank call from his PA that Gowri is ill so he returns back to home town with Jyothi. Gowri finds him with another woman and gets furious. She files for a divorce, informs media about Jyothi. Jyothi’s husband gets this news comes to find Jyothi. One thing led to another Gowri finally become mentally unstable because of her own decisions. Bharathi visits her in the mental hospital with Jyothi. Jyothi then understands that Gowri really needs Bharathi and they belong to each other, Jyothi leaves Bharathi with her. Jyothi’s husband becomes a cripple and understands his mistakes, reunites with jyothi in the end.

The film opens with a bus accident in which there is only one survivor — Vasu (Srikanth). The film flashes forward to six months later. Vasu works in an automobile showroom and falls in love with Shanthi (Neelam Upadhyaya), who he also hires as his employee. Vasu begins to notice five individuals following him everywhere he goes. He confronts them, and they tell him that they need his help, and he agrees. As he fulfills their wishes, he learns they are people who were involved in the same bus accident as him, and they have appeared as spirits so their last wishes can be fulfilled. Shanthi mistakes the signs of Vasu talking with the ghosts as a psychological problem, and the lovers separate. Can Vasu fulfill the spirits’ wishes and get back together with Shanthi?

Marudhamalai, a cop, gets involved in a scuffle with the local gangster and helps the villagers get rid of his atrocities.

Karthik (Nagarjuna Akkineni) is a rich architect in Ooty. He falls in love with Padmavathi “Padhu” (Gracy Singh). Padhu is hesitant to accept and reciprocate Karthik’s love, as she doesn’t know what kind of a person he is. Padmavathi has a younger cousin named Bhanu (Shriya). Bhanu encourages their love and gives courage to Padhu’s feelings. When Padhu reveals her love, her father Rama Chandraiah (K. Viswanath) enraged, resists and asks her to marry the guy he has chosen for her causing Padhu to elope marry Karthik.

Balakrishnan (Pasupathy) is the owner of a barber shop in a remote village. His family consists of his wife Sridevi (Meena) and three children. Balakrishnan struggles to persuade customers to visit his barber shop while his competitor Shanmugham (Vadivelu), a former worker of Balakrishnan who has his own barber shop across from Balakrishnan’s, uses cunning means to make business in haircutting. Balakrishnan’s downfall in business causes him to neglect paying his children’s school fees. Although he struggles to make a living, he still enjoys spending time with his family.
