The story revolves around a remote village in Andhra Pradesh plagued by a strange disease killing a lot of people. The soothsayer of the village predicts that God would come to their village for rescue. Meanwhile, Raju (Mahesh Babu) a cab driver in Hyderabad goes to Rajasthan to handover an insurance cheque to a man’s family who dies in his car. In a strange situation, Raju meets a man from the village and gets to know about their problem. Soon Raju realizes he is none other than the God-sent, the soothsayer predicted, and the rest of the story is all about how Raju takes up the responsibility to rescue the village from the clutches of evil.
Baba 2002
The film opens with the birth of Baba (Rajinikanth), who is a ‘baba amsa sambhootudu’. Baba grows up as an atheist and hot-blooded man, but he is a Good Samaritan. His lifestyle includes consuming alcohol, smoking substances, and chewing tobacco. His mother (Sujatha) and maternal uncle (M. N. Nambiar) are ardent devotees of Mahavatar Babaji (the Mahaavtar Baba who is supposed to be 2000 years old and who lives in the Himalayas). Chamundeswari (Manisha Koirala) stays in the neighborhood of Baba’s residence who often quarrels with Baba but eventually falls in love with his style and falls for his attitude.

Dindigul Sarathi 2008
The story revolves around an insecure teetotaler Sarathy Raman (Karunas), who feels bad due to his dark skin (his wife Vasanthi (Karthika) is fairer than him), who is often the brunt of many jokes. Because he feels inferior to his wife, he begins to suspect her of infidelity and thinks that she will one day elope with a lover. After a misunderstanding, Sarathy and his mother are estranged, which further weakens the bond between Sarathy and Vasanthi. How Sarathy resolves his issues and gets back together with Vasanthi forms the rest of the story.
Aayudham Seivom 2008
Saidai Sathya (Sundar C) has little respect for the law. He parks his car in the middle of the road and creates trouble for other vehicles. A traffic policeman Kandasamy (Vivek) ignores that violation because he is a close friend of Sathya. A social activist and lawyer Udhayamoorthy (Vijayakumar) drags both of them to court for obstructing traffic and causing a nuisance. The court sends them to the Madurai Gandhi Museum for help, where they meet a college student named Meenakshi (Anjali). After Sathya is discharged, he starts a job as a henchman. VBR (Manivannan), a villainous former minister, sends him to steal a confidential file containing vital evidence on the death of collector Leelavathi (Sukanya) at Udayamoorthy’s place. While he is stealing the file, Udayamoorthy is accidentally killed by Sathya. While dying, Udayamoorthy blesses Sathya by saying “Vazhga Valamudan” (Long Live). These last words haunt Sathya, and filled with remorse, he vows to carry on Udayamoorthy’s good work. He gathers evidence to discover Leelavathi’s murder. Sathya continues with his task of exposing VBR and adopts Gandhian principles of nonviolence and peaceful satyagraha. Ezhumalai (Napoleon) is a police inspector who vows to avenge the death of his brother Udhayamoorthy. He thinks Sathya killed him, although he later finds out that he did not. Sathya sits near the Gandhi statue and follows his examples of nonviolence, confident VBR will be arrested. VBR surrenders himself to the police and is arrested. The film ends with Sathya getting the justice.
Naan Rajavaga Pogiren 2013
Raja (Nakul) is a kick boxer, a happy-go-lucky guy who falls madly in love with Valli (Chandni) who is a law student. She is into a lot of social causes and assists Kamaraj (Manivannan) who is fighting a losing battle against a thug Isaikimuthu. Valli along with her senior (Kasturi) tries to re-open Kamaraj’s suicide case and has evidence to prove that it was a murder, she is on the run. No, our macho hero turns her savior and tried hard to protect her. There is Reema (Avani Modi) and Wahab, friends of Raja who helps him. How Raja fights all the goons single-handedly and triumphs forms the story.
Marudhu 2016
Maruthu (Vishal) is a labourer from Rajapalayam who personally does not tolerate injustice anywhere. He leads a happy life with his grandmother Appathaa (Kulappulli Leela) and his younger brother Kokkarako (Soori). One day, he encounters Bhagyalakshmi alias Bhagyam (Sri Divya), a bold young woman, at a temple, but their first meeting does not go well due to a misunderstanding, and he ends up at a police station. However, with Appathaa’s help, Maruthu soon manages to win Bhagyam’s heart. One day, he sees some goons chasing Bhagyam and her father (G. Marimuthu) near the market where he is working. Maruthu beats up the goons and then learns from Bhagyam’s father why the goons are after them.
