The film opens with a funeral partaking in an apartment where the police are involved saying he doesn’t understand the motive of the murder of Ram. His wife Janani hallucinates about her husband running away. She recalls memories and it continues with a flashback when Ram and Janani were 12th-grade students.
While she was from a middle-class family and Ram at that time lived with his father who was a businessman and his mother. After he saw Janani he helps fix her bicycle (it was raining heavily) but at the same time has a crush on her. He tells his friends Kumaran and Senthil about it they were from different schools but same tuition. One night he and Senthil stalked Janani and was caught by her father as he questioned them both. He slapped Ram and scolded Senthil for lying and warned them. Nevertheless, Ram visits Janani before he could ask she reciprocates his love. Janani’s sister Sumi makes sure her parents aren’t aware their secret love. The story returns to reality while Janani has a teary conversation with her mother about Ram. Soon she slept having a dream about when her family has a visa to go to the US and she had to go. When Ram heard this he decided that she could leave him. Instead of leaving him she appeared near him. He said she burned her passport and her mother disowned with a slap. She then urged Ram to marry her because of their five-year relationship. So he told his mother then urged his father who did agree and gave them a flat.After their marriage, Ram persuaded that her family to come and see her for she felt uncomfortable.He made a promise to not hurt her or allow anyone to. Ram and Janani were pleased with their life and were happy together.

As a result, Chandramukhi’s ghost tried to take revenge on Vettaiyan, who with the help of various priests and sorcerers from all over the country, tames the ghost by locking it up in a room located in the palace’s south-west corner. Priya is in love with Vishwanathan, a dance professor who reciprocates her feelings. Their love is supported by Saravanan, who requests Kandaswamy to arrange their marriage.

Deva (Suriya) arrives at the Chennai International Airport after running an errand for Arumuga Dass (Prabhu Ganesan) of smuggling pre-release unlicensed movies on DVD. The two leave for their hideout and instruct Dilli (Karunas), a hearing-impaired assistant of Dass, to make copies of the DVD. Just when police crews arrive into their vicinity, Dass informs Deva and the rest to leave. Deva tells the others to leave while he quickly sets up the burning process. Deva also leaves the hideout just in time. However, the police officers arrive at the hideout, only to see the burning process of the DVDs complete. The police then seize the DVDs and computers. The inspector, who was a friend of Dass, tells him that he can close the case if one of Dass’s men agrees to the crime. Deva attempts to go, but another man, Chitti (Jagan), who had no affiliation to them volunteers, takes the blame. Later, Chitti joins Dass’s group and befriends Deva.

Unwillingly, Guna accepts that. Guna, being a saxophone player, music director and lyricist, and Siva as a singer flourish in their career. Sitamma finds that Guna is a very affectionate person and Siva is a very sensitive person who cannot bear any downfalls in life even to a little extent.

Saravanan (Vishal) is a person in Ooty who runs a business of gathering people for politicians and events. One day he meets Maya (Hansika) and falls for her. However, Rajasekhar (Santhanam) also falls in love with her. Saravanan convinces Rajasekhar to not fall for Maya by talking about the expenses high class people require. Rajasekhar is a police inspector. Due to several mishaps caused, he is fired and stars working as a hotel doorman. He is shocked to find Saravanan and Maya going out together. He asks Saravanan how he made Maya fall in love with him. As Saravanan finishes his story it is revealed that it was Saravanan who indirectly caused those mishaps to Rajasekhar.

Azhagu Raja (Karthi), is the only son of the Muthukrishnan family. He owns an unpopular cable channel called “Triple A”. The cable company has only two employees, Raja and Kalyanam (Santhanam).
