When Kayal, a cellist, learns that Kamal, a businessman, who holidaying in Paris is in danger, she saves him. However, her life turns sour when she falls in love with him but he returns to India.

One morning in his house, Saravanan receives his ex-girlfriend Meera’s wedding invitation. He and his friend Paarthasarathy aka Paartha leave for Pondicherry to attend the wedding via car. En route, Saravanan recollects his past: He was a ruthless youth working in a film theatre with Paartha. He lives with his parents; his father, Varadharajan, who is educated and works as a college professor and his mother, Shenbagam, who is uneducated and is trying to pass an exam, just to get her college degree. One day in traffic, he sees Meera, a girl training to be an air hostess and falls for her on site. He follows her to a cloth shop and also to her Air Hostess class. He saw her house and he and Partha go to her house, as Meera calls them. There, Meera threatens Saravanan by showing her father’s photo, who is a Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Mahendra Kumar. But still, Saravanan follows her and asks her to love him. Meera takes him to Mahendra Kumar’s office and he asks Saravanan to stop following Meera. Meera tells Saravanan that she has some qualifications required by her lover like shaving regularly, dressing well, breaking his friendship with Paartha, coming on time, etc. Saravanan tells this to Partha and Partha asks him if he or Meera is best for him. Saravanan tells him Meera is more important to him than Paartha, causing a break between Saravanan’s and Paartha’s friendship.
Later, Saravanan joins Paartha’s broken love and asks him to rejoin his love. Partha agrees and then they go to Mumbai, following Meera in a flight. There, Meera alas tells him that she loves Saravanan. After some months, Meera calls Saravanan once, but he does not pick up the phone and tells Paartha that Meera is not his real love and it is all nothing, but a drama. But, he really said that for fun. But, Paartha had accidentally switched on the phone while Saravanan told him all this. Meera, mistaking him for intentionally misusing her, comes there and breaks their love. Now, at Pondicherry, during Meera’s marriage, both Saravanan and Partha end up drunk and tell a small story, in a comical way describing the broken love of Saravanan and Meera. Just as the marriage is going to happen, Rajini Murugan, a local don, comes there with a pregnant girl and his girlfriend and reveals that Meera’s groom has a girlfriend, who is pregnant by him and that the girl Rajini Murugan is with, is that girl. The groom admits to his mistake and reunites with his old girlfriend. Saravanan and Paartha walk off the marriage hall, just then Meera comes and hugs Saravanan, hence reuniting with him.

In the meantime, its shown that a CBI officer Riyaz Khan (Sampath Raj) has been deputed to track Vardharajan’s illegal activities. Varadharajan gets impressed with Sugan and decides later to make him his son-in law and this decision gets him into an argument with his other son in law Vijayakrishna (Ramki).

Film has an adapted theme from some hollywood films, still makes a mark with racy script but has flaws with forceful afdition of songs and commercial must haves of tamil cinema.

The story begins in Goa, where 6 dead bodies are washed ashore. The Goa drug lord Jothi (Ashutosh Rana) is responsible for this. The story opens in the British India reign, where a British man and porter are trying to catch a ferry. On the way, however, one of the suitcases being carried by the porter falls and opens, revealing many diamonds. The porter steals some of the diamonds and sends the gentleman on his way. He hides these diamonds in a trunk, which he buries near a temple in the Gulaebaghavali village. The story then shifts to 2018, where Badri (Prabhu Deva) and his boss Nambi (Mansoor Ali Khan) perform petty thefts. While at a pub, Badri spots Viji (Hansika Motwani) and falls for her. Soon, Badri unknowingly accepts to steal a priceless statue from the temple at Gulaebagavali and runs into Viji. The duo escapes from the villagers. With some help from Munish (Ramdoss) and Maasha (Revathi), they steal the trunk, which reveals a skeleton. After a lot of confusion, the trunk is delivered, where it is revealed that the diamonds are stored in the skeleton. The police comes to the spot and finds that the diamonds were very valuable. After they escape from the police, it is revealed that during the fight, a hand of the skeleton fell in Maasha’s car. On finding this out and how Maasha tried to deceive the other three, the trio chases her. A parallel storyline involves Mayilvaganam (Sathyan) and a don Annachi (Rajendran), which culminates in the climax.

George then asks her to be his girlfriend, coincidentally when Kumar was planning to confess his love for Sanjana. She accepts, leaving Kumar heartbroken. Nokia then intervenes and breaks up George and Sanjana. Sanjana and Kumar finally get together but Nokia tries to break them apart after he finds out it’s his sister he has been helping Kumar with. Then, Kumar admits to Sanjana that he manipulated her feelings but then seeks her forgiveness. Then they get back together, with the acceptance of Nokia who sees Kumar’s true love for Sanjana.

The movie begins with Chandu (Siddharth Narayan) and Siri (Shruti Haasan) as childhood friends. Chandu and Siri call each other “Faltoos” and “Killer”, respectively, affectionately. Their friendship remains intact even as they grow up. Chandu who was sent to Mumbai to do MBA, instead learns music and returns home which leads to agony of his father. Chandu starts spending time with Ritu to impress her, but Siri feels that she is being avoided. Siri decides to leave for a dancing School at Chennai. Meanwhile, Ritu accepts Chandu’s love proposal. When Siri is about to leave, Chandu apologises her that he had not noticed that she was being avoided. At the same time, Uday comes back from US to surprise her. Hence, she decides not to leave.

Rajasekhar is a police inspector. Due to several mishaps caused, he is fired and stars working as a hotel doorman. He is shocked to find Saravanan and Maya going out together. He asks Saravanan how he made Maya fall in love with him. As Saravanan finishes his story it is revealed that it was Saravanan who indirectly caused those mishaps to Rajasekhar.

With Karthik standing in her way and threatening to break her relationship with Arjun, Aishwarya is forced to find a suitable girl for Karthik and finds Nisha (Poonam Bajwa) for him. Aishwarya soon gets disturbed with the rich lifestyle given by Arjun. In a temple, Karthik tells her that his engagement with Nisha is going to happen the night before Valentine’s Day. At the same time, Arjun and Aishwarya plan to go to London. On the night Aishwarya is supposed to leave, she realises that she does not want to live this kind of robotic life with Arjun and tells him she loves Karthik. She goes to the place where Karthik and Nisha are going to get engaged. She professes her love but Karthik refuses and leaves the place with Nisha, but then a song plays, and Karthik reveals all of this is a play orchestrated by Nisha and him to make Aishwarya realise her mistake and her love for him. The story ends with Karthik and Aishwarya reunited.

Sonu gets angry and decides to kill Kamal. Kayal overhears the conversation and deciding to save them, rushes to their hotel. Sonu has sent some men to kill Kamal and he is on his way there. When Kayal reaches Kamal’s room she finds the door locked from inside. Without knowing what to do Kayal tries to get inside through the balcony. When she was about to enter she hears a gunshot and faints in the balcony. By this time sonu’s girlfriend has escaped from there. Just when Kamal is about to win the fight Sonu enters the room and threatens Kamal with a gun.
