An orphan soldier, Lieutenant Ram’s life changes, after he gets a letter from a girl named Sita. He meets her and love blossoms between them. When he comes back to his camp in Kashmir, he sends a letter to Sita which won’t reach her.
Roja Kootam 2002
Ilango (Srikanth) and Sriram (Jai Akash) are best friends. Ilango is the only son of Radhika and Raghuvaran, who are interested in anything but his academics. He falls in love with Mano (Bhumika Chawla), who also eventually happens to reside opposite their house, with her loudmouthed sub-inspector mother (Rekha). With the responsibilities of a brother to get his sisters married, Sriram leaves for Libya on a job received through Ilango’s parents. Before he leaves, he tells Ilango that Mano and himself are in love, and asks Ilango to look after his lover until he is back. Ilango swallows his love secret for the sake of friendship. Meanwhile, Bhumika’s mother arranges for her to get married to Vijay Adhiraj for his wealth. At this juncture, Mano and Ilango lie that they are already married. They both leave their parents, and Ilango starts earning to support Mano. Finishing his job assignment, Sriram returns, only to give yet another family responsibility as an excuse. He apologizes for not being able to marry Mano as he is a tight corner to marry somebody else for the sake of his sister’s marriage. Later, Mano leaves to Mumbai after a job opportunity. Ilango’s parents come to know the truth that he and Mano are not married. They accept them. Radhika knows Mano as the girl Ilango loved, but he would not accept it since Mano might think wrong of him. Later in the train station, things turn plates and Mano comes to know that she is the girl he loved and accepts him.
U Turn 2018
Rachana (Samantha Akkineni), an intern with The Times of India, is working on an article on the incidents at a flyover (Hyderabad flyover in Telugu, Velachery flyover in Tamil). She also has a crush on the crime reporter Aditya (Rahul Ravindran), whose help she seeks for research material on accidents on the flyover. She finds that each day some motorists move the concrete blocks that partition the road just to take a quick U-turn and avoid the traffic. They don’t move them back and the blocks are left to lie randomly on the road leading to many accidents. A homeless man sitting on the flyover notes down the vehicle numbers of commuters who violate the rule to take the U-turn and gives the list to Rachana. She obtains the details of the culprits using her contact in the traffic department, with the intention of confronting them for their “short-cut” and writing an article for the paper. Her attempt to meet the first person on the list goes in vain. Later the same day, the police take her into custody and accuse her of killing the same person she wanted to meet. She is shocked and tells her side of the story. Though the senior police officer rejects it, sub-inspector Nayak (Aadhi Pinisetty), finds it believable and does some investigation. It is revealed that all the persons Rachana has on her list have committed suicide. They also noticed that they have committed suicide the same day they took the wrong “u-turn”. Rachana and Nayak find another number has been noted by the homeless man which is to be delivered to Rachana the next day. The duo trace the address and try to rescue the man, a lawyer, who has taken the u-turn on the same day. As nothing seems suspicious, both leave only to encounter the very death of the lawyer whom they came to rescue.
Sillunu Oru Kadhal 2006
Kundavi (Jyothika)brought up in a small village called Ambasamudram. She, along with her two friends, decide to have a love marriage. However she is not so successful. Her father arranges her marriage to Gautham (Surya Sivakumar) against her wishes. Both look gloomy during the wedding due to obvious reasons.
Badri 2001
Badri (Vijay) is the youngest son of a family and a careless guy, always going around girls and enjoying with them. His womanizing habits are a source of heartburn for his father (Kitty). However, his elder brother, Vetri (Riyaz Khan), a kick-boxer and his father’s favorite son, is very fond of him. Janu (Bhumika Chawla), Badri’s neighbor, is in love with him, but it is just one sided as Badri considers her a good friend and a source of money and cars to impress girls (Janu’s father is a garage owner). He falls in love with Mamathi (Monal), a rich girl, and poses as a rich guy to impress her. However, she soon finds out Badri has lied to her. Mamathi dumps Badri and insults him in front of his father. Badri’s father, tired of his son’s antics, disowns him. Later Vetri is attacked by his enemies and is bedridden, unable to take part in the kick boxing championship. Badri decides to fight in his brother’s place to redeem his family name as his father always wanted his son to win the kick boxing championship. So he trains hard and fights against Rohit, who happens to be Mamathi’s new boyfriend. He defeats Rohit, redeems himself in front of his father’s eyes and finally accepts Janu’s love.
