Padaippalan is an Indian horror film written by Thian Prabhu and directed by Thian Prabhu with Ramesh, Ashmitha in the lead roles

This movie depicts the life of the celebrated painter Raja Ravi Varma. While painting a masterpiece, Pururavas, Raja Ravi Verma (Santhosh Sivan) finds himself attracted to his model, Anjali Bhai (Karthika). Together, they are thrown into a torrent of love and passion from which they find it difficult to escape.

The Movie deals with two best friends Gayatri and Rajesh and the conflict that arose when in gayatri’s Sisters wedding the groom gets attracted towards Gayatri and vows to marry her instead of her sister Savitri.
