Police Pandi (Soori) the owner of a real estate agency, borrows 15 lakhs from Vatti Varadhan (John Vijay), a local rowdy and don to start his business. Murugan (Vikram Prabhu) is Pandi’s assistant, and he gives the media an advertisement in which he persuades people to buy land from ‘his’ company, making many people persuaded from it. A billionaire wants to buy all the land, and when he is about the to sign the papers, they find out the land is actually a graveyard, causing the billionaire to not buy the land. When they are in the bar drinking alcohol, a call comes on Pandi’s phone. Murugan answers it, thinking it was the broker who sold them the land, but it was actually Varadhan. Murugan talks to Varadhan in foul language, and when he ends the call, Pandi tells him it was actually Varadhan. He then goes to another table and asks a man for some wine. Johny (G. V. Prakash Kumar) is a happy-go-lucky guy who is mistaken as a notorious gangster by his lover Hema’s (Anandhi) father Dass (Saravanan) aka Naina, an ageing gangster who wants a person to replace him as the Naina in Royapuram and become his son-in-law. Johny has a disease which causes him to repeat his previous words if he sees blood. How Johny eliminates his rivals and becomes the next Naina forms the rest of the story.

Sameer Behl (Shahid Kapoor) comes to Mumbai with Bollywood dreams, struggles through the day as a courier boy, and keeps failing in auditions for advertisements. More stereotypes are stuffed in as he refuses to take help from his dad in Delhi, is thrown out from his rented flat by the landlord, and comes away with his calculative companion. One day, a movie director named Rajeev Sharma (Mohnish Behl) sees Sameer dancing and calls him to his office. Soon, Sameer is signed as the male lead in his film, and his friend Tina (Genelia D’Souza) is selected as the choreographer on the same project. Homeless, Sameer sleeps in his car and works as a dance teacher in a school. Subsequently, Sameer loses his film and is disillusioned. Tina finds this out and asks him how he can spend his life like this. After some time, Tina tells him that she also quit the film and did not want to be the choreographer for that film because she saw him upset. Sameer realises the love Tina had for him. Tina encourages him to participate in a television talent-hunt show, the winner of which will win the same role that Sameer was to play. After some time, he agrees to participate in it. After filling up the contest form, he also says “I love you” to Tina. In his screen-test, Sameer dedicates his monologue to his mother. After his monologue, during the interview, he comes to know that his father’s shop in Delhi has been demolished. He promises Tina that he will come back for her and leaves to meet his father, heart-broken about the whole thing. After watching Sameer’s performance on TV, his father convinces him to go back to Mumbai and participate in the show.

Netru Indru 2014
Veera, a forest brigand was killed by police officers. A police officer who is suspected to have become this brigand’s man has gone underground and a team of cops (Richard, Bharani and co) are sent to the forest to capture/kill him. They meet Akhila (Arundhati), a woman who claims to live in the forest, who, they think is a prostitute. Meanwhile, in a parallel track, there is a young woman Dhamini (Manochitra), who agrees to be driven to the same forest by Sivaji (Vimal), a debauched car driver.
Aindhaam Thalaimurai Sidha Vaidhiya Sigamani 2014
The movie starts of with Sigamani (Bharath) as a young student refusing to go to school. His father, after having heated arguments with the school teacher, says his son does not have to go to school. Thus, Sigamani grows up illiterate and uneducated. After 25 years, he has grown up to be a siddha vaithiyar, following his family’s roots. There is also a marriage broker in this story, Vijay Sethupathy (Singampuli), who tries hard to find an educated girl for Sigamani, but he is unable to. Due to the fact that Sigamani is uneducated, he is easily cheated by his friends. His only trustable friend is Paalpandi (Karunakaran). In desperation to get married to an educated girl, Sigamani plans to wait outside a college to find a girl to love. He then sees Nandini (Nandita) and decides to go after her. One day, Sigamani and Paalpandi follow Nandini and end up in her house. After listening to an unknown phone call, Nandini’s father Chinnadurai (Thambi Ramaiah) mistakes Sigamani to be a doctor who has studied MBBS and arranges for the marriage, which also takes place successfully and Sigamani is happy as his dream of marrying an educated girl has come true. Before the interval, Ravichandar places another major twist in the story to keep the audience in the edge of their seats.
Kyun Ho Gaya Na 2004
Diya (Aishwarya Rai) is an intelligent university student with strong views on love and marriage. She spends much of her time at an orphanage in Coorg, helping her “Uncle” (Amitabh Bachchan) with the children living there. The story begins when Diya travels to Mumbai to write exams. While there, she stays with her father’s friend, and meets their lighthearted, free spirited son, Arjun (Vivek Oberoi). His views on love and life are completely different to hers. The pair start spending an increasing amount of time with each other and throughout all their arguments and conversations, they soon fall in love. Diya is more open about professing her feelings, while Arjun is reluctant and does not disclose his true intentions. Diya is left feeling heartbroken.
Abhiyum Naanum 2009
During a walk to the park Raghuraman (Prakash Raj) meets Sudhakar (Prithviraj Sukumaran) and tells him about daughter Abhi (Trisha Krishnan). Raghuraman is the loving husband of Anu (Aishwarya Sivachandran) and the worrisome as well as caring father of his only daughter Abhi. Together they live a calm and content life in Ooty. Also living with them is “Ravi Shastri” (Elango Kumaravel) who was earlier a beggar and was adopted by Abhi. Raghuraman and Abhi are best friends. Over the years as Abhi grows up, Raghuraman has the joy of being a part of her life. When Abhi gets accepted in a prestigious college in New Delhi, Raghuraman is shocked. Although the thought of being separated from his daughter for two whole years is heartbreaking, Raghuraman wearily accepts. After returning from college, Abhi tells her parents that she has fallen in love with a young man in Delhi. Anu is perfectly all right with the idea, but Raghuraman is angry and scared. He shouts at Abi and does not talk to her properly. Anu later informs Raghuraman that their future son-in-law will be arriving by flight and staying with them for a while. As soon as Raghuraman meets his future son-in-law, Joginder Singh (Ganesh Venkatraman), he is taken aback because Joginder is a Sikh. After many conflicts with Abhi and Anu, Raghuraman finally realizes that Joginder is self-sacrificing and quite talented, more so when on one occasion the Prime Minister calls him for advice.

Shakthi (Bharath) becomes the managing director of Rajasekhar group of companies following his father’s death. He feels highly dejected because of troubles surrounding him such as continuous loss in business and also his girl friend Anita (Shammu) ditches him and marries another guy. Above all Shakthi develops enmity over his mother after she decides to remarry following her husband’s death.
Bombarded with troubles, Shakthi one day leaves his office and boards a train without even knowing the destination. In the train, Shakthi meets Anjali (Tamannaah), who is more bubbly and talkative and she is on her way back to her hometown Theni after completing her studies. Anjali keeps talking to Shakthi continuously which irritates him. Shakthi plans to jump from the fast moving train to end his life, but due to Anjali presence, he could not do it. Anjali informs Shakthi that she is in love with Gautham (Munna) and also about her plans to elope with him as her family is highly orthodox.
