Sanjeev comes to Chennai to earn money for his sister’s marriage.He stays with his uncle singamuthu.He comes across meenakshi, a thief and gradually falls for her.After seeing an advertisement for making quick buck by staying in house for one night,Sanjeev and Singamuthu go to Mosquito kumar.Mosquito Kumar takes them to P.Pandu and tells that they need to stay in house for one night so that P.Pandu can sell the house since people are not ready to buy his house fearing presence of ghost rumours planned by P.Pandu’s rivals.They stay in the house one full night and encounter strange things.They then discover it is the handiwork of meenakshi who is paid by opposite party.Now comes the twist in movie,enter Ramki who is actually planning to rent the house to a marwadi family.Sanjeev,Meenakshi,Singamuthu and Mosquito kumar are cheated by Ramki.They then decide to kill Ramki by various techniques but with no success.Finally they plan to scare out the marwadi family.So they approach Singamuthu who is an fake shaman .Singamuthu promises to send ghosts to Seth house.What happens next forms the rest of the story.

She and her uncle follow Raja so she can dupe him and escape with all the looted money. As the things go on a frolicking way between Panasa and Raja, Shakeel is searching for Veeru. Veeru realizes Shakeel will kill him soon. Hence, Veeru offers a big diamond to Raja and asks him to escort his daughter Bhuvana (Lisa Ray) to his brother Dharma’s place.

Krishna Das, a waiter by profession, falls for Keerthi. His look alike, Dr. Sanjay Rudra, dies in an accident the night before Das loses his job and love. Venugopal, a wealthy industrialist, marries a woman named Sushila and they have quadruplets. His brother Nandagopal tries to have her and the newborns killed by hired goons. However, the leader of the goons has no desire to kill the babies, so he adopts one (Michael), leaves one in an orphanage (Raju), one in a temple (Kameshwaran) who is picked by Palakkad Mani Iyer, a Brahmin, and one (Madhan) in a car that belongs to Venugopal.
30 years later, Madhan is now a London-educated businessman. Venugopal has raised Madhan as his adopted son, not knowing that he is his biological son. Venugopal is killed by Nandagopal and his nephew, Ramu for his inheritance, but unknown to them, the will has already named Madhan as the beneficiary.

The film begins with Karthik (Sethu) meeting psychiatrist Valeba Raja (Santhanam) to discuss about his life story. Apparently Karthik has two love stories. He falls in love with Sweety (Nushrath Bharucha) on first sight but when she bashes a guy for wrongly interpreting her friendship as love, our hero decides to put ‘Project Sweety’ on hold. Meanwhile, Karthik’s family plans to marry him to Shalu (Vishaka Singh) but the former tells about his so-called love story to the latter and she offers to help him out by telling her parents they need fifteen days to take a firm decision on wedding. During the process, Shalu and Karthik develop a liking for each other but suddenly Sweety too reciprocates his love to our hero. The rest of the story is all about whether Karthik marries Shalu or not.
