Spot 2019
According to review by IndiaTimes:
The movie starts with a chase sequence – a girl is being chased by a bunch of goons as per the order of a dreaded politician. Four boys come to her rescue and she is taken away by them in a car. The chase continues for around an hour’s time, in the course of which two of the boys lust after her. The third guy wants to get rid of her to avoid unnecessary consequences, and the fourth guy falls in love with her. The worse thing is, the girl, too, loves him back without any convincing reason. Even when the indefinite car chase happens, with the goons yelling ‘thookku da’, ‘poda’, ‘vaada’, and so on, we are shown two songs featuring the hero and heroine. The latter half of the movie is hilariously terrible with some pointless skin show, never-ending fight sequences, funny dialogues and bizarre background score. This is a film which shouldn’t have been made.

Meanwhile a Silambatam match breaks out into a haphazard fight between Puli and a local gang; the events turn out to become a bloodbath after the goons beat Puli up pretty badly. Post the trauma and pain, will Puli avenge his pride? What happens to Bharathi’s love? Can Puli lead a normal life that his mother always wanted to? Chellama (Nila), a worker in a facility for the mentally-challenged, is also kind of a groupie. Life is all merry and mirth till she espies Lee & co, attempting an assassination of sorts on a minister. The bid fails, but Chellama is shocked and so are we. Why would this bunch want to take a crack at the murky world of politics and cricket?

Uchathula Shiva 2016
An easy-going taxi driver, Shiva (Karan) gives out advice on hygiene and the need to be ‘professional’ to an idli vendor on street, thus establishing himself as someone with a humanitarian side, in the very first scene. Further, his conversation with Gnanasambandam (who plays himself) in a car and the way he talks to his over-concerned mother over phone (Kovai Sarala’s voice) brings him closer to the audience. However, within no time, things go haywire when the story actually kicks off.
Nila (Neha) is being chased by a prominent drug dealer (Naren) in the town, and Shiva comes to her rescue and offers a lift. He tries to contact people who are close to her to ensure safety. Little does he know that he is inviting trouble, as things start going beyond his control. What follows is an unexpected series of incidents.
